I'll take the Jim Henson body suits any day. Liebesman's film was awful.

I don't care what anyone say's this movie was pretty damn good. It's cheesy, fun, and goofy, and has some dope action sequences. Is it the best movie ever? No... But does it capture the essence of the Ninja Turtles? Yes... but the movie is far from perfect.

There is some stuff that they need to improve for the sequel. But for the 1st movie it's a solid effort and i'm excited for the sequel.

@ Jollem - That picture is sick!!
All the haters are bugging. This movie was a lot of fun! Could it have been better? Of course! But was it a good representation of the Turtles? YES! The action was great! The personalities of the Turtles were spot on, and Shredder (though not given enough time)was badass! Also finally getting to see Splinter kick ass was worth it!

I'm pretty partial to the old school Ninja Turtles, but this new iteration wasn't too bad and I enjoyed it. Some dialog and acting were a little over the top, but overall the movie wasn't too shabby.

Ugh this [frick]ing movie.... the turtles personalities are the only saving grace of this garbage pail. They were oversided, superpowered monstrosities and not ninjas in the slightest. Seriously they showed barely any "ninja" skill they basically slammed and destroyed everything with sheer body mass and super strength. This was a Micheal Bay Transformers flick, end of story. Even had Megan Fox in it.

It would've been more entertaining imo if the turtles were less powerful and relied more on their wit and ninja skills. Of course they should still be stronger than a human, but more Olympic athelete, and less unstoppable juggernaut. The turtles in this flick were tanks/bruisers, not ninjas.

Movie sucked but the CGI was incredible, the designs were awesome, and the turtles personalities were hilarious. Looking for pulled back camera on more martial arts scenes in the next one. Megan was underrated as April too.

@ BasedThanos - Um, other than martial arts skills they have never really been ninjas. Everything they do is big and loud pretty much(except in the comics). Sure they sneak in and out sometimes, but nothing ever goes quietly for these kids, and I think them sneaking back into the lair was supposed to show that. They have the skill, but they're teenagers!
