In tonight's episode of The Walking Dead, another member of Rick Grime's tribe was killed off. In the closing minutes of the midseason finale Rick and his group tried to negotiate the release of Carol (Melissa Suzanne McBride) and Beth (Emily Kinney) from Grady Memorial. Everything was going fine. It was an even swap. That was until the hospital's leader Dawn (Christine Woods) decided she needed Rick to hand over Noah (Tyler James Williams) as well so that she wouldn't lose face. That doesn't sit well with Beth and she stabs Dawn, but receives a bullet to the brain for her effort.

What did you guys and gals think of the midseason finale?

Season Four of The Walking Dead ended with Rick and the group outgunned, outnumbered, and trapped in a train car awaiting a grim fate. Season Five picks up shortly thereafter. What follows is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group’s lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive. Stories will break apart and intersect. The characters will find love and hate. Peace and conflict. Contentment and terror. And, in the quest to find a permanent, safe place to call home, one question will haunt them… After all they’ve seen, all they’ve done, all they’ve sacrificed, lost, and held on to no matter what the cost... Who do they become?

The Walking Dead stars: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Iron E. Singleton, Madison Lintz, Danai Gurira, Melissa Suzanne McBride, Michael Rooker, Lauren Cohan, Vincent M. Ward, Chad L. Coleman, Brighton Sharbino, Kyla Kenedy, Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. and David Morrissey.

Man, I dont even know what to say. Beth has been one of my favorite characters on the show. I have been useing her icon on this website for weeks. I knew someone would die tonight, but why Beth?

All that character development between Beth and Daryl went out the window. Remember last season there was 2 episodes with just Beth and Daryl!!! Daryl was heart broken when Beth was kidnapped last season.

I went back and watched the last couple scenes, Daryl was so happy once he saw Beth. Then before he killed Dawn, he was crying like a baby. Same with Rick, he also was really hurt when she died.

Then it got worse cause Maggie was so happy that Beth was still alive. Then to watch that scene when Maggie sees Daryl holding Beth's body was so heartbreaking.

Still cant believe she died.

It could have been worse, after Daryl killed Dawn they all could have unloaded on everyone! That would have been crazy!

Emily Kinney is crying on The Talking Dead. Robert Kirkman is sitting next to her like... "Um, thats my bad" he doesent even care, lol.

Beth horrible decision making and "Mrs. Moral Authority" attitude that got her killed. There was no reason why she had to stab Dawn. What in the hell did she think was going to happened? The same reason why the fight near the elevator wasn't necessary. The writers seem to have ditch the character growth of Beth and went back to whiny, "woe is me" Beth that made her annoying. I'm glad that Hollywood finally made the "young, pretty (typically white) girl who does dumb things without consequence" pay the ultimate price.

This was a good episode overall.
