Sometimes our emotions can get the best of us and in the new Pixar-Disney animated film Inside Out these emotion are their own characters. You will actually get to see how Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Joy (Amy Poehler) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) can influence what we say and do. Check out the first trailer below.

From Pixar Animation Studios, “Inside Out” opens in UK cinemas on July 24, 2015.

From an adventurous balloon ride above the clouds to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Up”) has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. In Disney•Pixar’s original movie “ Inside Out,” he will take us to the most extraordinary location of all—inside the mind.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

So, it's basically an animated version of "Herman's Head?" Pass.

VirileMan....that's a reality of life, even though it may not always be socially acceptable to admit. Look up published studies on regret...women's #1 regrets in life are of a romantic nature. This is quite common.

There's that phrase by Willie Nelson...99% of the world's lovers are not with their first choice; that's what makes the jukebox play.

Of course, he's being tongue in cheek about the percentages, but you get the point he's making. Life is more complex and has more shades of gray than the black and white of your 'moral backbone', which is a fantasy.

"When did we loose our moral backbone as a nation? People think infidelity is funny now-a-days. People who find that kind of thing funny should probably be on their second or third marriage by now."

Um. I think you're overthinking this a little bit.

@VIRILEMAN-

You do know that half of Pixar's audience are adults, don't you? Pixar films were never really considered "children's cartoons". And I'm sorry but as adults, we always think of previous romances. It's a natural human occurrence.
