Will First STAR WARS Spinoff Be A Han Solo Movie & Star Aaron Paul?

Yo, B**ch! According to sources for Making Star Wars the first Star Wars standlone film, which will be directed by Gareth Edwards ("Godzilla") and written by Gary Whitta ("After Earth"), will focus on Han Solo. This is a contradiction to the report from Slash Film, a few months ago, that said Han would NOT be involved in Edwards' film. Making Star Wars also said the film's working title (codename) is "Luminac Industrial Goods," production will overlap Rian Johnson's Star Wars VIII and looks like Aaron Paul ("Need For Speed") could be involved. He's best known for playing 'Jesse Pinkman' on AMC's Breaking Bad. Oh, and before anyone freaks out there is NO information connecting Aaron Paul to the role of 'Han Solo.'

Star Wars: Episode VII - Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film. It's being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.

Please No Han Solo spinoff, make a spinoff trilogy with new characters. No one can match Harrison Ford.

If Need For Speed is any indication, Paul is NOT a leading man. He´s better in a supporting role.

With a forehead like that they'd be crazy not to cast him as "The Leader" for a Hulk sequel.

I'd definitely take a bite.

I'm hoping that one of these spinoffs will be very much a 70s period piece

They need to make a Knights of the Old Republic film, it would be awesome to see Revan, Malgus and that timeline on the big screen!

Aaron Paul is not a good choice for Han so I hope there continues to be not info connecting him to that role. Harrison Ford IS Han, he is one of those character/actor combos that should not be toyed with and should be left alone on film. Comics and Novels and video games are another thing.

I like Aaron Paul, but he's not a good fit for Han Solo. If you're doing a young Han Solo movie (and you probably shouldn't be) get Bradley Cooper.
