Yo, B**ch! According to sources for Making Star Wars the first Star Wars standlone film, which will be directed by Gareth Edwards ("Godzilla") and written by Gary Whitta ("After Earth"), will focus on Han Solo. This is a contradiction to the report from Slash Film, a few months ago, that said Han would NOT be involved in Edwards' film. Making Star Wars also said the film's working title (codename) is "Luminac Industrial Goods," production will overlap Rian Johnson's Star Wars VIII and looks like Aaron Paul ("Need For Speed") could be involved. He's best known for playing 'Jesse Pinkman' on AMC's Breaking Bad. Oh, and before anyone freaks out there is NO information connecting Aaron Paul to the role of 'Han Solo.'
Star Wars: Episode VII - Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film. It's being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on
December 18, 2015.
