In October, Warner Bros. listed off all of the comic book movies that they will be releasing over the next five years. One of the, was a solo film for The Flash. That film will arrive in theaters March 23, 2018. They then announced that the Scarlet Speedster will be played by Ezra Miller, who is best known for his role in Perks Of Being A Wallflower and We Need to Talk About Kevin.
We haven't heard anything from Miller since the announcement was made, but The Hollywood Reporter caught up with him at Sundance a few days ago and asked him about the moment he learned he landed the role. "Zack Snyder told me on the phone that he wanted me to play the Flash while I was eating a tilapia in a small Central American village," Ezra Miller said. "That was definitely a moment that prompted me to question the fabric of my reality."
We don't have to wait until 2018 to get our first glimpse of Miller as The Flash, as you can expect his character to be included in Zack Snyder's Justice League: Part 1 which arrives in theaters November 23, 2017.
