Over the past few days The Dark Knight Rises: The Secret Files Scrapbook has provided us with new images and descriptions of characters from the film. Here are two more descriptions that showcase Catwoman's accessories and Bane's mask.

Information Courtesy Of Tony Fritze

SELINA KYLE - is a world-class cat burglar and mistress of disguise. She's cunning and devious, but has a deep sense of honor. As Catwoman, she targets Gotham's wealthiest. Her weapons usually include infrared goggles, bladed high-heel boots, and a belt filled with lock picks.

BANE - Little is known about Bane. He was born in prison and trained in the darkest forms of deception by the League of Shadows, but rumor has it he was cast out due to his extreme behavior. Bane is a ferocious hand-to-hand fighter who is willing to do anything in order to take down his opponents. Bane is in peak physical shape, but he must wear a breathing apparatus that feeds him with pain relieving gas due to an old injury. He's never been photographed without his mask and only a handful of people have seen his face. While his true motives remain a mystery, he appears to be building an army of followers in the dark tunnels underneath Gotham in order to create his own League of Shadows.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

Hey at least he was born in a prison! :P But the no venom thing pretty much was expected since January. Might not be the take fanboys want, but it's no deal breaker for me. His attributes don't really bother me. All that matters is his plan.

The painkiller will basically be this film's version of Venom. And whatdaya know? He was born in a prison!!

PrepH@ Agreed. I'm over the moon about Nolan keeping the born in prison element.
I'm getting the feeling that when we all leave the cinema, the first thing people will talk about is his face.

Wow, that's awesome! I mean think about it, Superman doesn't feel pain (often) so that makes him a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention him being a part of the league of shadows, he is obviously intelligent and deadly and I think his muscle speaks volumes. A simple mask change and the absense of his venom won't effect the quality of this film at all, in my opinion. I know the die hard fans don't always want realistic or like change but if it works, no complaints here. Sounds like Spider-Man and Superman are gettin the story/character change treatment too, guess we better suck it up and get used to it. The summer belongs to The Dark Knight Rises.

so...Catwoman steals sh*t and Bane is a BAMF? how is that a spoiler? :P

And the fact that he was(rumored to be) cast out of the LOS because of his extreme behavior pretty much confirms something I've been saying for a long time. Bane will come to Gotham will Ra's ideology, but none of his subtlety

The problem is most of Batman's enemies aren't much of a physical threat. When it comes to blows with The Joker, Scarecrow or Two-Face it's not an even fight because Batman is a highly trained fighter and their not. Bane on the other hand is a real physical challenge for him, and the fact that he can't feel pain gives him a major advantage in a fight. I thought the final fight with Ra's on the train in BATMAN BEGINS was rather good though, and hopefully the fight with Bane tops it. Also who's to say that there isn't some kind of venom like steroid in that gas mixture Bane is huffing? Wait to actually see the movie before jumping to assumptions, people.

SO EXCITED TO SEE HARDY'S TAKE ON BANE

And if your biggest concern with this movie is "how does Bane eat" you need to crawl out of your mothers basement and get a life. That's one of those questions we don't need an answer to, like how does Spider-Man take a piss if he wears a full body leotard without a zipper under his street clothes all the time? Does he have to strip completely naked every time he has to pee? That would make standing next to him at the urinal fairly awkward.

yea, right. as if the hand-to-hand combats of nolan films are that good to be called "epic", or maybe "stunning". in fact the choreography of the fight scenes of the nolan-bat-films can be imitated by a 5year old kid. :b sorry, but it seems legit.

because users don't share the same opinion as YOU.

YOU have to resort to name calling "butt hurt no life faggots"

sounds to me someone else is a little buut hurt to me.

@ soforizo

it can't be any worse than the fight with the joker.

yeah... I don't agree with some of Nolan's choices on Bane.

Instead of venom like from the comics they could have just made the guy a roid head, and have the roids he was taking be named "venom".

That way he could have kept the pain relieving mask and so on and so forth.

But anyway... that doesn't mean the movie will suck.

One sour note is not game over

Much better version of Bane, very much like the brute half-brother from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movies who couldn't feel pain and was unbeatable in a fight. Way more believable than a serum than instantly blows up your muscles into a mini-Hulk without rupturing your body.

Fanboys be damned, for the general public who know squat about Bane, this will be quite an opponent unlike any they've seen before.

I'm waiting to hear some legit spoilers before I see TDKR. Not that into the villian choices, and really not into the casting of said villians. More importantly, I am not going to see a movie where Batman dies, so until that rumor is debunked or proven true, no TDKR for this butthurt no life...how does that go again Winsalot?

Lol People are butt hurt because it's more realistic and DARK.. Quit being so technical, and enjoy a good movie. Not many come around these days.. We should appreciate what Nolan has done with the Batman Trilogy..
