Before Christopher Nolan releases his final Batman film he will be honored at the prestigious Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The director of
Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and the upcoming blockbuster
The Dark Knight Rises will be immortalized on the walk next to such stars as Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable.
In celebration of the upcoming release of "The Dark Knight Rises," the film's director/writer/producer, Christopher Nolan, will be accorded a rare industry honor: Nolan will have his hand and footprints cemented into the famed forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The hand-and-footprint ceremony will take place on Saturday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.
