Bodwulf - 9/15/2012, 9:47 PM
Still curious as to how much Pacific Rim charged to let them have the suits after they were done with them. Hope it is a good film but Robo no longer looks like a bulky cyborg. It looks just like what it is. A man in a suit.
JorLBola - 9/15/2012, 9:48 PM
Even so I'm excited, I want to see a teaser trailer soon

bluedude - 9/15/2012, 10:13 PM
starscream ya some storys are suppose to be dark n gritty batman stories being one, because some stories involve mobs, drug cartells, murder etc... And robocop is kinda dark i mean it is in detroit after all but im not really wanting a robocop remake like at all why mess with a classic?
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 9/15/2012, 10:13 PM
*couldn't
IronSpider101 - 9/15/2012, 10:35 PM
Yeah, I'm against this movie. [frick] it.

Maybe it'll pull a John Carpenter Thing and have the re-released copies outshine and outsell the new one. But I doubt it.

[frick] this movie. [frick] it, [frick] hollywood, and [frick] the sheep that are going to see this movie because of the brand, even if they claim to hate the idea before hand.
damntree - 9/15/2012, 10:36 PM
@starscream - Robocop is dark and gritty. /facepalm

@JorLBola
Here in Southern California cops wear ALL BLACK.
Ceejay - 9/16/2012, 12:04 AM
Unlike Total Recall, Robocop was actually an original scripted movie so there really is no need for a remake. But like all things if its going to be done then do it differently because there is no need to make the same movie twice if its gonna be exactly the same.

And fanboys can moan all they want about the Total Recall remake, it treated the source material a lot more seriously than the satire filled Arnie vehicle and was a gazillion times better shot and performed.
Newbus - 9/16/2012, 12:13 AM
Well they can make all the changes they want, but the film has to be brutal or its' going to misses the point.
dannybohy - 9/16/2012, 12:18 AM
This looks like a disaster. Cheap, poweranger, giant sex toy, love child of BATMAN and ironman. Looks as Shit as the nolan batman suits. It should look like a man's torso infused into a machine, this looks like a guy in a Gimp suit!
purvebsc - 9/16/2012, 1:30 AM
Gary Oldman dropped out. Michael Keaton is in. Also, the suit isn't nearly as good looking as the original.
sameoldthing - 9/16/2012, 1:40 AM
I saw behind the scenes pics & Robocop looks all wrong.
Why the hell is his armor all black? It's like the movie people think everything has too be f-ing black!

He's also too sleek looking which sucks,he should be like a human tank as the original one was..big & bad.
Nubase - 9/16/2012, 1:45 AM
@purvebsc

Gary Oldman has not dropped out, it was hugh laurie from the tv show house that dropped out and keaton is his replacement.

As for the suit did everyone think it would be the same suit from the orignal?

l say wait till the trailers come out, it may look dull now but with post production it will look better.

l remember when the first pics of the thor suit surfaced and marvel fans did'nt like it saying it was not shiny enough then the trailer came out and silenced them.

the only reason l'm prepared to give this remake a chance is because of the cast in oldman, jackson, keaton and kinnniman who was great in the killing.
lokibane2012 - 9/16/2012, 1:56 AM
Robocop didn't need a remake/reboot or whatever the [frick] this is.
damntree - 9/16/2012, 2:17 AM
Oh noes! Remakes!!!
GUNSMITH - 9/16/2012, 2:28 AM
NOTHING IS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL BUT HEY YOU CAN TRY.
CptHero - 9/16/2012, 6:07 AM
that teaser looks good but the full costume looks liek shit, like something out of a Power Ranger movie

the old one actually looked like a robot not a guy in a suit
camlabar - 9/16/2012, 6:52 AM
I cant wait to see samuel l jackson and gary oldman team up.
TheAbomination - 9/16/2012, 7:07 AM
Man. Can't wait to see this bomb.
Luccian0 - 9/16/2012, 7:08 AM
I'm amped let's get it hands one of the best Robocop is a legend
DarthLaney - 9/16/2012, 7:08 AM
Just got a Superman Returns sized let down when I saw the new suit. They really screwed the pooch there
accountnolongerinuse - 9/16/2012, 7:14 AM
I like the new suit. It's newer and sleeker, while still harkening back to the classic Robocop look. Had it gotten any closer, even in colour scheme, I guarantee you lot would be pissing and moaning about how they 'shouldn't have even bothered to remake it if it was going to be the same suit.' Slow your rolls, kids.
CaptainObvious - 9/16/2012, 7:44 AM
@Ceejay- The Total Recall remake was bland and boring. The characters had no personalities, therefore uninteresting. The action is repetitive. All of the ambiguity and mystery of the original is tossed out in favor of a generic action flick.

I'll take the 1990 version over this soulless junk any day.
