The streets of Toronto, Canada have been transformed to look like New York for the filming of Kick-Ass 2. In the wee hours of today Christopher Mintz-Plasse was seen in the back of a car talking to his driver, played by John Leguizamo. McLovin lets out a maniacal laugh and puts on his new mask. Then with larceny and mayhem in his heart McLovin heads toward a local convenience store.

Why did they even bother having red mist change his costume at the end of the first film if they clearly werent sure it would be his look in the sequel. On second thought i'm sure a few years will have past considering hitgirl so this drastic change shouldnt matter. We'll see what these characters were doing between these films.

Anyhow, it does resemble the Mother[frick]er's look in the comics in certain aspects. I hope it looks a little less bondage-esque in the final product.

Corny looking, just the way they intend it to be I'm guessing. I just hope it's not so over-the-top that it dilutes what made the first one awesome.

I'm getting the feeling that nobody read Kick-Ass 2. So yeah...why bother commenting on the pictures of an adaption you never read.

seeing as he only changed his name from “Red Mist“ to “MotherF-er“ and kept the old costume in the comics, if they had to change it in the movies couldn't they have at least made it look like the comic book?

You know, I actually think if they do this right, Kick-Ass 2 could be the film that really allows Christopher Mintz-Plasse to branch out from McLovin.

Hell, if Wadlow does this right, we might just get the R-rated version of Heath Ledger's Joker (someone who you will fear wholeheartedly no matter what they're wearing).

Apologies for the double-post, but I just realized what I said earlier isn't incredibly likely. He seems more like if the Bear Jew become a supervillain.

Still, can't wait for the sequel.
