Robert Downey Jr. Makes His Triumphant Return To The IRON MAN 3 Set

Iron Man 3 began filming in Florida today, and actor Robert Downey Jr. was seen on set for the first time since his injury. Besides Tony Stark, the Iron Patriot armor was also spotted at Dania Beach, although mostly covered in a dark cloak.

Iron Man 3 will be directed by Shane Black, and is expected to hit theaters May 3, 2013! The film stars: Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Gwyneth Paltrow (Virginia Potts), Don Cheadle (Col. James Rhodes), and with Ben Kingsley as the main villain.

Looks like they added a new photo that shows what I was talking about in photo #9 even better. Neptune's Net. Neptune is the god of the sea and in the comics he sent Namor to find his trident so that he could rule Atlantis.

Neptune's Net is an actual place in Malibu which would make perfect sense if the main character lived near there......oh.......wait a minute. Try again on that one.

It's great he's back and that photo is hilarious. But what on earth is this?



Rumors have it that there are 40 different Iron Man suits will be remotely controlled from his new suit. But what if they did them all different designs etc. And what if that was one of the suits! That would be awesome!

I was worried about this, but then I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and I now have complete faith in this film. Shane Black and Robert Downey Jr worked brilliantly together, and I think this could very well be the best in the trilogy.

I still think the armor looks [frick]ing awful though.

Sorry - no connection to Namor. Neptune's Net is just a normal sign for a tourist joint. This is not a part of the film nor done deliberately.

And remember kids, absence of evidence is not evidence!


(oh my god, wait.....there was no mention that Luke Cage was NOT going to be in the movie, so Luke Cage MUST be making a cameo in Iron Man 3)

When they interviewed Black he never said that Reed Richards was not going to be in the film, so what does that mean? I think it means Reed Richards is going to be in the film because Shane never said he WASN'T going to be in the film.

Also, this is taking place near a beach, so I think that means another villain in Sandman. I am pretty sure they would not film this near sand otherwise.
