3 Frames Of STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Featuring Spock In A Volcano

Director JJ Abrams was on Conan O'Brien's talk show last night and he brought with him three frames of footage from Star Trek Into Darkness, that feature Spock inside of a volcano.

Warning this clip is extremely short. It's not even three seconds long, it's just three lousy frames. If you blink thee is a good shot you'll miss all three frames, that is how fast it goes. Look, I admire JJ for being so secretive with the film, but there is no reason to jerk around Star Trek fans with this nonsense.

Here is a screenshot of one of the frames, and I also added a set photo of Spock (Zachary Quinto) in his fire resistant suit.

"Star Trek Into Darkness" stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, John Cho and Alice Eve. The film is expected to be in theaters May 17, 2013.

What the [frick]? They're still making this movie, I'm surprised. Lack of any sort of news on this damn movie made me think they just gave up on it. Great to finally hear SOMETHING about it.

Obviously it's not even three seconds long...because films play at 24fps and it's only 3 frames.
And he's not jerking anyone around, it was a joke and I'm really glad that's all it was. Movies are better when you don't know what's going to happen.

We have pretty much had nothing, as far as news goes for this film, and now three frames... The film better be [frick]ing mindblowing to make up for this annoying shit.

@riseofFAGGOTX36

There has only been ONE movie so far. And I can tell you didn't even watch it considering nobody was a "teenager" in it, like you think.

@riseofLOGANX36- First off get off your [frick]ing high horse. Secondly, you can't tell people whether or not they are fans of something. Yeah these movies changed things, things change over time, they evolve, it's natural. I personally LOVED all the series specifically Enterprise and TNG. But i liked the 2009 movie because it brought something fresh and breathed new life into the franchise while it had become quite stale and was even dying.

My favorite Trek film has always been "First Contact" and that's STILL my favorite trek and hell my favorite SCIFI film in general.

Lastly if YOU were a true Star Trek fan you'd know the actual CREATOR of Star Trek's name is GENE Roddenberry. Not Gean. LMAO

@lokibane2012- I agree, what Abrams pulled here was a dick move. There hasn't been a single bit of news for almost a [frick]ing year and now he pulls this dick move. The film better be mindblowing

"[T]here is no reason to jerk around Star Trek fans with this nonsense."
They're not. They're targeting Conan's audience. It was a bit made for Conan's show. Whatever overlap there may be between both audiences is irrelevant to making the joke, which is tailored to a broader audience than just ST fans.
