False! Reports Of Nicolas Cage Joining The Cast Of EXPENDABLES 3 Are NOT True
Put the bunny back in the box! Sorry people but news of Nicolas Cage being confirmed for Expendables 3 is false. Star of the franchise, Sylvester Stallone, contacted Deadline after hearing about fictitious quotes that were attributed to him. Hit the jump to see what he had to say.
Yesterday many sites reported that Nicolas Cage had been confirmed as a cast member of the upcoming, Expendables 3, but Sylvester Stallone has contacted Deadline to let everyone know that those reports wrong. Stallone says he, “has no knowledge of Nic Cage joining Expendables 3.”
So, what happened? Apparently someone pretending to be Sly posted a message on a site purporting to be a Sylvester Stallone Facebook page. The message claimed that Nicolas Cage was on board for the third installment. Lies!
