That concept art for the Batman/Bane battle looks a lot like something from Star Wars.

No more BTS footage for me until I get it on Blu-ray. I really want to see some actual concept art for Bane. None of that kindergarten stuff.

Its funny how marvel fanboys claim Nolanites are the problem...

Then proceed to insult the movies...

Quality film. Best of the year for sure. This is why I appreciated TDKR over Avengers. Avengers was one huge green screen behind the battle. I'm not talking about the aliens, but the actual fighting background.

Look at the effort put in for practical effects here. Insane man insane

Thank god I finally found a comment a
section with fans of TDKR. I can't believe all the hate I'm reading in thi site and it's quite sad because nine times out of ten its always marvelites bashing it, while also talking about "nolanites" which I have not seen on here ever. All I see are people trying to like a movie and people bashing them for it it's ridiculous and this is the only place on the Internet that I ever hear someone talk bad about Nolan and TDKR. It's gettin ridiculous and there so diligent with it a lot of people who actually like the film so they don't just to get them off their back. You can't deny both TDKR and the avengers were both great films. I'm just tired of reading hatful shit....

@ComicFanMan

Hell yeah! man

Its whoevers the majority rules on this website. Majority ARE Marvel fanboys now who stupidly claim Nolanites run the website when it is them.

I loved The Avengers and TDKR but you will never hear a true marvel fanboy admit that. Nor will you ever hear a marvel fanboy insult the Avengers.

I admit TDKR had flaws BUT SO did the avengers, which no one talks about.

Anyway, for the simple gesture of agreeing with you, I'm sure some ignorant marvel fanboy will post after me with a not funny picture or naked chick claiming "Nolanites butt[frick] each other hurr hurr"

ComicFanMan@ Welcome to the site, but you have obviously missed all the articles in which it goes the opposite way. It's nowhere near 9 out of 10 times. This is a place for all fans to voice their opinions. If I don't think a film is great, it is my right to do so and I didn't think TDKR was great. It was disappointing for me. Different strokes as I always say. I also said the same thing about TASM, so it has nothing to do with Marvel vs. DC. It has to do with being an old-school comic book fan seeing disservice done to the characters I have loved for over 40 years. Once again, to each their own.

The first concept image (with Batman and Bane in the sewers) looks straight out of The Phantom Menace and Empire Strikes Back. Also, I wonder how much it cost to construct one of those sets (the Batcave for instance)?
GuardianAngel
GuardianAngel - 11/18/2012, 10:52 AM
Wow I'm surprised the haters haven't showed up yet. Both The Avengers and TDKR were great. Whether you prefer TDKR or The Avengers, can't we all agree that The Dark Knight beats them both?

@ranger14

See man I can respect your post and opinion on the subject matter because your not saying "this movie blows nolanites suck it herp a derp derp." because your coming from a level headed place I just have a problem with people who are so biased with marvel they don't even give the film a chance and just bash it as much as they can, with stupid pictures and rude uneducated comments like children.

"I just have a problem with people who are so biased with marvel they don't even give the film a chance and just bash it as much as they can, with stupid pictures and rude uneducated comments like children."

I understand that, but the same thing happens on Avenger articles by the DC and Nolan fans. It isn't just a one-way street.

...and I prefer Batman Begins over TDK and TDKR
