Dear Dr Schoenfield,

We have checked your new proposal concerning the core of the "Prototype"'s reactor. Sorry for the late answer, but, as you can think, we never studied such a huge project.

We finally bypassed the administration slowness. Thanks to the PPDC generous funding, we are happy to announce that our EPR reactor 1650 Mwe production site - best performance in the market - base in ***** is ready, and early based on the previsionnal calendar. We are proud to promise to provide to the Pittsburgh project our whole production of pressurized water reactors from our sites based in **** and ****.

As we previoulsy spoke, the gigantic size of the double pedal mechanism needs a combustion core with at least (****) in order to maintain the locomotion and to feed the systems of *** and ***. The starting budget estimation is ****. We will have to discuss the feasibility.

We have the privilege to participate to the eradication of the Kaiju threat, and to be able to move agin nuclear power in a hope dynamic, and not fear. The world count on you and your Prototype to warrant our survival. Good luck, and God bless you.

Regards,
Vincent Pascal, Director of the Agency.

PACIFIC RIM SYNOPSIS - When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)-who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Pacific Rim is scheduled for release on July 12, 2013. The cast includes Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Max Martini, Rob Kazinsky, Clifton Collins Jr. and Diego Klattenhoff.

I really can't wait to see how these Jaegers will look in motion, and also on the big screen. See, my eyes have become very used to the way most movies today portray robots as segmented, big chunk of metals (*Cough* Transformers *Cough*)...this movie, on the other hand, has that classic solid-looking robots, much alike to the ones I grew up with. Seeing them in today's modern CGI technology - and an actually serious big screen treatment - is like a dream coming true, for me. Not to forget its awesome design.

I'm [frick]ing stoked for this movie.

I bet the oldest Jaeger is called "Mick". It has a sonic weapon in a huge mouth and its rooster strutting is making it hard target to hit. Later it teams up with "the David" and they go dancing in the streets to sexually confuse the aliens..

Love everything I'm seeing so far. My only beef (and it's minor) are the terms Jaeger and kaiju. As a long time Godzilla fan I'm familiar with the term kaiju, so I assume Jaeger is from somewhere too. But does anyone else feel like those terms feel out of place? Or too anime-ish? I dunnow. I still want to watch the hell light of this.

An Ultraman movie would've made me much more excited and happier! I hope this story fills in the gaps so it doesn't become another "Tranformers" type of movie.
