Y'know, I'm lukewarm on Nolan's Batfilms, and not getting my hopes too high for Man Of Steel, but... I'll be damned if seeing the SuperCavill toy next to Baleman doesn't make the fanboy inside squeal with glee.

And not that fruity, singing and dancing kind of Glee.

The robot's face reminds me of Marvel's Annihilus. And I'm going to take a guess: Jor-El banishes Zod when he discovers that he programmed the robots to stage a coup of Krypton?

@FreakingIntelligentRobertGriffin There's a rumor that goes with that: the Robots guard the Phantom Zone prison and when Zod escapes he takes control of them.... just thinking about that makes me wonder if Zod will start terrorizing during the climax while Faora and the "sleeper agents" set up his arrival.

@FreakingIntelligentRobertGriffin Mallets and wrenches? What makes you think he reprograms the robot army like that? There are other surviving Kryptonians (Faora) who could be using an outside means to free Zod. Anyway, it's Zod... he probably built those robots when Jor-El desperately(?) had to banish him in the time of crisis.

@FreakingIntelligentRobertGriffin I get it. Zod should be abandoned in the Phantom Zone. If anything, the robot army was a pre-conceived escape plan. Zod's going to be corrupt, I'm sure he'll do things many of the higher-ups will deny but he'll do it anyway.
