Christ almighty I hope this lives up to the original. Wadlows got some brilliantly talented shoes to fill because Vaughn hit it out the park with the first one of which my only problem was Mint Plasse who i dont think has any weight as an actor, his delivery feels so feeble and acted it drags me out of the moment and I'm just sat there watching a great film with one horrendous weak link in it, I really hope he's sorted his chops out because the 1st one was pretty much faultless in every other way, the violence was beautiful, the visuals wer excellent and the actors/dialog/story wer spot on.

This is how CBMs should be made. If they meet my admittedly overly hyped expectations Kick Ass 2 and Sin City 2 are going to be my CBMs of 2013 and find their slots in my top 10 CBMs of all time.

I really can't wait for this film

Vaughns biggest achievement with the 1st one was his use of music, Elvis 'American trilogy' with the jet pack with mini guns scene was the perfect combination of spine tingling music + set piece . Its up there with 'Where is my mind' (Pixies) at the end of Fight Club or Commanche (The Revels) in Pulp Fiction (Tarantino is the master of this) or The Times They are a changing (Bob Dylan) in The Watchmen. Its what turns a great scene into a perfect scene. Hopefully Wadlow can pull this off.
