A Newly Hidden STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Poster Has Been Uncovered!

I'll tell you what, that JJ Abrams is one tricky son-of-a-gun. He begins the day releasing multiple international trailers for Star Trek Into Darkness, but what you may not have known, is that the director hid in them a URL for a brand new poster. Check it out!

If you're like me, you completely missed the secret URL that was hidden in the new Star Trek Into Darkness international trailers. And who could blame you, or I? The rat finks hid the URL at the most crucial point in the trailer, when all eyes would be glued to the "action." But oddly enough, a few eagle-eyed viewers came across the URL and followed it to a brand new poster. Check it out! (Thanks to TrekMovie.com for the information.)

STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS - written by Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci and directed/produced by J.J. Abrams. Returning for the sequel are Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Zoë Saldana, and Anton Yelchin. They are joined by new cast members Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller. The film beams into theaters May 17th, 2013.

Cool composition, awesome pose for Benedict Cumberbatch, and...his head is an amateurish Photoshop work. Well done.

That scarf he sports convinces me even more that "John Harrison" could very well be this universe's version Dr. Tolian Soran (Malcolm McDowell in Star Trek: Generations), though.

Now this is more of a speculation based on the physical looks, of course (although I've got a few more reasons of why it is possible), but I really won't mind seeing this coming true rather than him being Khan.

Considering the scene in which the URL for the poster was found, the image is nothing compared to Alice in her skivvies! I usually hate Star Trek, but may go see it just for that!

Why can't Benedict be this awesome in Sherlock? He's an obnoxious c.unt in that show. Ugh.
Here he's menacing and down-right terrifying!

Ugh, these outfits are ugly. Why can't they wear their classic colors on the poster?

@GetsugaTensho22 there are so many things wrong with that comment that I don't even know where to begin. You have to be trolling... you can't have seriously said that.

Sherlock isn't meant to be 'menacing and down-right terrifying' - the character is, as you say, 'an obnoxious c.unt' - he's a genius with a slight superiority complex, obsessive and addictive tendencies, social awkwardness, possible bi-polar mood-swings, and a knack for offending pretty much everyone he ever meets at some point.

He's not meant to be some stereotypical charming, endearing, debonair hero who can do no wrong. Sherlock Holmes is a fundamentally flawed character, whose only saving grace is his ability to seemingly solve the unsolvable, and his tendency to use those skills to help the police solve crimes. That's who Sherlock is, and Benedict Cumberbatch plays the role exceptionally well, as he manages to convincingly portray all of those mannerisms.

And another Enterprise bites the dust. :-/

I can deal with it, as long as they tell an excellent story.
