From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the team behind the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.



Disney's The Lone Ranger is directed by Gore Verbinski, from a screenplay written by Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Eric Aronson and Justin Haythe. The film stars: Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter. It will gallop into theaters July 3, 2013.

actually looks fun . . . and yes, any badly written script is always better in another language you don't understand . . . so you can transfer your own interpretation easier.

Its just like the TV series except more Michael Bay ish!

(Yes, I know Jerry Bruckheimer is involved, but with all the explosions, he must be learning from Michael Bay)





Final thought, This would have been a perfect movie for Megan Fox to play a prostitute!

I don't know what trailer some of you are watching, but this looks like it's going to be a very good and fun film to watch.

I would prefer if it was more serious but it still looks good. I will definitely go see it!
