New MAN OF STEEL Image Of Christopher Meloni As Colonel Hardy (Low-Res)

One of the ways in which Man Of Steel will separate itself from past Superman films is by having a strong military presence. The man leading those troops is Colonel Hardy, played by the longtime Law & Order: SVU actor, Christopher Meloni.

Clark plays the confused, different child who doesn't know how to deal with his powers, grows up to become a bit of a loner, Zod comes down and [frick]s shit up, and Superman saves the day. The army doesn't know who this guy is and wants to question him.

I'm still not excited for this movie. I hope it kicks off DC's shared universe, but I'm just not excited.

@Grif...have you listened to Kevin Smith's story about WB wanting Superman to fight a giant spider? If not, youtube 'Kevin Smith talks about superman movies'. Regardless of what you may think of Smith...it's crazy some of the stories he tells in that clip in regards to Superman. ...Maybe WBs finally got that giant spider they wanted. Perhaps? lol

@SteveRogers- At work, just to end this- i figure talki.g about something OTHER THAN Superman's bowels for once would be nice. And while ur at it, maybe not hating on the movie with absolutely zero reasons to hate on it. Try seeing the movie before you start trashing it with your filth.

I'm not saying you should hype it up like marvel fans did to im3 but it also doesn't mean you should hate on it and troll it either.

Especially trolling it for things like constipation. Really?

Wow there are two types of reactions to this movie.

One is the overly excited fans (which I am one.

Second is the people who really feel threatened over this movie!

I wonder why MoS causes this strong rejection and a desire to see it fail in some marvel fans. As if they were afraid or felt very threatened.
I hope MoS succeed and do very well in the critics, that would give rise a new DCU and everybody win with more and better movies.

Man of Steel, movie of the year!
