No matter how many chicken breats he eats,

Hugh can never get the stocky/bulkiness that Wolverine has because his body isn't built like that.

The Rock sure did get bulky using the same diet :/

@Godziwa: Yup I sure some hgh, etc. I don't know why anyone would want to be that big lol.

Imagine what would happen if he slows down on that 6K calories a day. Gotta be real careful and it requires tons of maintenance or all that bulk will turn to flab real quick.

But actors get paid to look a certain way so maybe he can keep it up for quite a while lol.

We'll see.

Lets face it if you like me and either read the early comics or watched the 90's tv show you probably are not expecting this movie to stick to the comics. I like the the Origins movie until that gave deadpool claw like swords, and few other things. What i'm trying to say is that as long as FOX has their hand in these so called comic movies they will continue to destroy what Marvel is trying to build here with Iron Man and Avengers and so on. The actors they have chosen for their movies have been mostly spot on but the script has been horrid and won't be making it to my comic book movie collection any time soon. Troller out!

Last pic with bloody hands is awesome. Can't wait to see that scene and any with berserker rage Wolvie kicking some serious ass!!

He's a great wolverine. Please let go with the "but he's not short" excuse...

Jackman haters also think he's gay cuz he can act and sing, but he is a damn good actor. Jealousy is a sin...

@Greengo: He got pretty damn bulky when he thought Aronofsky was gonna be making the movie and then directors changed and shoot dates and so he slimmed down while waiting.

The Rock should play Apocalypse.

I think we've seen enough different settings in this movie to now know the answer to the burning question.

NO: he will not wear the suit.

Whatever, that's fine, as long as the movie is good. He doesn't slouch enough anyway to pull it off.

@DeadpoolJustice

"as long as FOX has their hand in these so called comic movies they will continue to destroy what Marvel is trying to build here with Iron Man and Avengers and so on"

Woah, FOX may have screwed up some things but they were integral in getting Marvel studios to where it is today and increasing the popularity of the genre. I recall a little FOX movie happened to surpass two decent Marvel Studios productions in 2011.

As for Iron Man and The Avengers

"You start with something pure, something exciting. Then come the mistakes, the compromises."

@breakUbatman except fox starting compromising a LONG time ago. First Class was fair at best, and the complete bastardization of the timeline, for me, was rotten. Wolverine Sucked, X3 sucked...and reality is X1 and X2 dont hold water against Sony's, Marvel or WBs current productions. Look at the bitch move today. They FORCED Singer to add quicksilver to piss off Marvel. Because that works...forced last minute crap..DOFP is smelling like a cross between X3 and that lame ass giant movie we just had to endure..

BTW...I look forward to both versions...then we can see the direct comparison..

@m0th3r

:) of course x1 and X2 wouldn't hold water against current CBMs when they came out people were into films like Charlie's Angels and MI:II - how well do those hold up next to current action films?

Wolverine and X3 sucked for sure but First Class still spanked GL, Cap and Thor (even with Loki). My point is that all studios learn from each other and FOX hasn't destroyed what Marvel is trying to build.

Let's just watch the movies rather than pre-judge

For everyone is who is still wish they would have gotten someone that is built like wolverine and is 5'3, can anyone name someone who is built like wolverine and is 5'3 and can act the part. I would say no there isn't or they would have hired him instead they hired the best actor for the part he might be about a foot taller and not as bulky but he has been working at it and he has done a great job playing the part. As far as suits go it might look great in a comic book but it might not look great on a real person and if you look real careful wolverine in the comics look the same height as the rest of the group.

As far as the Rock goes he is a wrestler so it is easy for him to bulk up, you can not compare the Rock to Hugh Jackman they have completely different body types
