AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Spoilers Pertaining To Green Goblin, Electro & Peter's Parents

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Green Goblin Case
Earlier this month, our own Mark "RorMachine" Cassidy reported details about Marc Webb's version of the Green Goblin, which you can view
here. In that article Mark's source mentioned seeing a chamber on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, that looked suspiciously like a set designed for Norman Osborn's transformation scene. Well today, Movie Web has an image (right) of that chamber and info to go along with it.

"Well, we can confirm that Green Goblin will actually be making his big entrance during the climax of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Here is a photo of the glass case that contains Norman after his transformation, which he breaks out of."

The second image from Movie Web is of the Green Goblin glider, "that the stunt team has been using to practice on."

The third image is of an electronic billboard. According to Movie Web Jamie Foxx's Electro will be tossed by Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) into this set piece.
"It's revealed that Electro can fly when he is over metal, and he uses this power to fly out of the billboard & around Time Square, exposing himself for the first time to the people of the city."

Now we get to Peter's parents, Richard (Campbell Scott) and Mary Parker (Embeth Davidtz), Movie Web says that their fate will finally be revealed in the sequel. As you will see, "Mary getting shot on a plane, which causes the plane to go down in a crash, killing both Peter's mom and dad."

How about Spidey's new costume? Well, our favorite wall crawler will be rocking out, as his new costume has a built in MP3 player. One scene in particular that will take advantage of this addition, will be the Rochester chase scene featuring Paul Giamatti's Rhino.

That's quite a bit to digest. What do you think?


The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

I liked ASM. Sam Raimi can keep his tobey maguire nonsense with his dog faced maryjane. Andrew Garfield made a way better Peter Parker and spider man. Lets do this.

Hopefully the series gets better, but it just seems like TASM2 has too much going on.

I like all the ideas and I don't even mind the mp3....but yes he could do more, maybe even a police radio built in with it that can tell him when a crime happens......other than that all spidey needs is to invents spider tracers and that's it....not too much is needed for spidey unless you want him to be a "Superior" Spiderman..... For all we know they might go that route too.....

I don't mind this at all. I think as long as Spidey doesn't fight the Green Goblin..

Who knows.. It's all how they execute this!
For what we know, Goblin shows up... Makes his appearance and the Goblin saga continues into part three! Like a cliffhanger.

Maybe part 3 will all be about the Goblin. Maybe the Goblin DOES kill Gwen Stacey in part 2 at the end... Which would be AWESSOOMMMEEEEE!!! That would leave all the fans and the movie goers really looking forward to how Spider-man resolves this new villain in the third film.

I don't think this has been done in a comic book movie yet. A straight up cliffhanger where the villain [frick]s up the Superhero mentally and physically.

Can't wait to see what they do..

BTW they have been slowly setting up Norman Osborn since part one..

I don't think they will Venom/Two-Face him. Actually the total opposite.

Setting up a main event heavyweight head-to-head match up for part 3!!!!

Seriously nothing can please you people!?!? You wanted Sinister Six, you're getting it. You wanted Green Goblin? You got that too! People complained when the first one came out saying "it's too Ultimate, don't do Giant Goblin!" Then when you get a hint at the original Goblin, you bitch and say "you're copying the original!" Same thing happened with the suit!

Why don't you all just sit back and relax? This wont be a rehash of the first trilogy, and I think CBMs are way more respected nowadays. So what that we get multiple villains? That's [frick]ing awesome! This is the Spider-Man movie I've been waiting for forever, and if you people want to ruin the movie for yourselves by bitching and causing pointless arguments then go ahead. In the mean time ill be over here waiting for an awesome spider-tastic ride

And goblins non armor suit might look a little cheesy....they probably tried it and it didn't look right for the big screen so the armor look will work......but I think what might've been able to work was goblin turning green, gets muscular (like Henry Cavill muscular, he gets sharp teeth and long pointy ears, a purple wool or assassins creed fabric like hood that's purple, which Is also pointy but the pointy end is not sticking straight up but kinda hung down, I think a purple over-the-shoulder cape that's like ripped or torn at the end (like megatron in dark of the moon), now he also has black body armor that only covers his torso and shoulders (small shoulder pads) but not the arms. The shoulder pads also have spikes too....now his hands have a look with dark purple gloves (maybe with an addition of spiky brass knuckles)....now he has a black belt with military type pants that are black and black boots maybe........
