"I was commissioned by DC/WB to do a few concept promo shots for Man of Steel that's in the theaters this weekend." - Keron Grant

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

Man Of Steel was directed by Zack Snyder, from a script written by David Goyer. The cast includes: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Ayelet Zurer, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne and Richard Schiff. In theaters June 14th, 2013!

Very cool. They nail the looks of the Kryptonians - the councilmen's costumes are pretty close to some old depiction of Jor-El I often saw, back then; not sure where from, but the headdress, green color, and ornaments are very similar, as far as I remember.

@fett: I think that "explosion in the background" scene from the preview was actually Zod removing his flaming cape.

And Nam-ek was in several more shots than just the "Hulk jump" onto jet scene. He tag teamed Supes with Faora and through a train engine on top of him...

I still remember that flaming locomotive flying through the air... so awesome.

Are there no blak Kryptonians in Man of Steel? It make sense in saying that the channel of events that caused some people to become black did not take place on Krypton which could also be why it's asian

@Vision91, someone theorized that since they were able to genetically engineer their offspring, they were able to filter out that trait.

MOS 0.5/5. Faora was the only decent thing about that abortion of a movie even is she were kind of butch.

Nam-Ek? Gee, that's not ripping off of Dragon Ball Z.

@OhThePurdue, Actually Nam-ek was created by DC in 1974 while Dragonball was created in 1984.

@Purdue You do realize Nam-Ek is an actual character in the comics.

@aRandomSinisterClone I was gonna ignore you like everyone else but your ignorance and lack of drive to actually talk about something you know bothers me. Nam-Ek is NOT in the prequel comic. That's Dev-Em. Next time, at least know your shit before using as munitions to drive your dislike for a certain writer.
