Yesterday, That Nordic Guy, brilliantly morphed the past and present cast of Star Trek, and today he has decided to morph the faces of the young and old versions of Magneto (Ian McKellan/Michael Fassbender) and Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy/Patrick Stewart).

Woah, I thought thought the Magneto one was Roger Moore for a moment. Also looks like Byran Cranston. The less said about the Xavier one the better.

And does anyone else think the viral video would've been better if it wasn't creepy in the end? I mean, they wouldn't want to go for creepy, they're going for 'safe'!

Professor X one's not that bad, actually makes me realize James McCavoy could grow old into Patrick Stewart as I did not think initially

I've always thought Fassbender looked like a younger McKellan -- long before he was even cast in FC. This is just trippy. Very cool. It shows how both younger actors could logically progress into their older counterparts.

@beto: Gandalf was never young, not to mention he doesn't really appear in the Silmarillion. But if anyone ever gets around to adapting it, Fassbender will probably be old enough by then.

Lawrence was a terrible Mystique, she's a chatty teenager, a far cry from the silent badass we got from the previous films, or even the vocal but commanding Mystique from the comics.
