Two months ago, when Michael Bay was filming Transformers: Age of Extinction in Chicago, set photos surfaced showing a bearded head of a robot on a pole. Now, we know which Transformer that face belong to, as Nelson from shootfortheedit.com has the scoop.

"I like how Bumblebee looks like in robot form this time around. He looks badass and sleek.

The Stingray is one of my favorite looking robots.

So is the Bugatti. Wait til you see this guy in action. He will blow your mind!!

And Hound reminds me of the bearded chubby fellow in Braveheart. He might take the cake when it comes to personality."

Thanks to the heads up from Udana Wijesuriya

Starring in "Transformers 4" is Jack Reynor in the starring role of a race car driver. The talented and beautiful Nicola Peltz has been cast in the female lead role of Reynor's girlfriend. Bearded cybertronian robots... Okay...

Too bad none of them will get as much screen time as the human characters. For a franchise called Transformers, these movies are barely about Transformers. Did Bay just get bored with the robot characters and decide that racial stereotypes and toilet humor would make for a more engaging film? Kind of weird considering they are robots that turn into cars and planes. How can that be boring?

I find the films enjoyable but I wish bay would realize that the transformers are the most interesting characters and should be the main characters. The whole franchise would be better if they transformers were the main characters and the humans were the side characters. Dark of the moon almost had that but unfortunately didn't.

Since when were Transformers able to grow beards? Never noticed that with Sentinel Prime. Anyways, I'm still not impressed by this film. I've seen the same type of stuff before with Dark of the Moon, it impressed me, but when I saw the film, it wasn't even decent. The special effects of the Transformers series are pretty cool, but why waste so much time and effort on each and every film of Michael Bay when each one is mediocre. These visual effects companies need to start focusing their talent on some good films once in a while unless they're paying them a shit ton of cash.

Yes.. Thats exactly what I thought the first time I watched Braveheart and saw that big ginger beardo: A Transformer!
Good jobb Bay, good jobb.. Can you please also make a Transformer that looks like Uncle Fester?

I never understood how Transformers could have beards. Do they also have toenails, eyelashes, middle fingers to direct at the audience?

I see it also has a nail showed into its mouth. Did some kind soul try and put it out of its misery? Or is that thing smoking a pipe like a jolly fat bearded bastard?? Let me gues: He will chuckle alot and make "jokes" about him being to old and fat.

Breaking: I found a spyshot of it in its transformed form!

Quit moaning and movie on, the movies are not made for fanboys stuck in their 80's childhoods and that's why they make billions at the box office. Audiences of TODAY, not 1986, LOVE THEM!

Deal with it!

Is that bearded thing a robot design for this movie?

Oh god...more stereotypes...get ready for some more sexual innuendoes.

Yep.

I think people going in expecting Bay to do a movie differently than he always has been are really optimistic.

After all the countless times we've been suckered into thinking he finally did it right by watching a great trailer, only to be let down time and time again, for him to change his approach and personal style of film-making suddenly would simply be a akin to a miracle.

He has a good property and he's following the money over quality/story formula.

It's it's not in the same tone as all the previous Transformers films (and Bay's work in general) I'll eat my account.

I had no problem with some facial hair on TFs, like Sentinel Prime, Jetfire, Leadfoot, or Q, but I think this is just pushing it.

Don't you know that people will always find things to complain about? Even when they have no idea what they are talking about?

Just like Cup from the old school cartoon and comics transformed with a robot cigar in his mouth.

These things are nothing new when it comes to transformers....
