Jack O'Connell Up For STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Role?

Sources for Bleeding Cool have informed the website that Jack O'Connell ("300: Rise of an Empire") met with J.J. Abrams about a role in Star Wars: Episode VII. Thoughts?

According to sources for Bleeding Cool, English actor, Jack O'Connell, is now very much in the mix for a part in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII.
Jack O’Connell, who was excellent in Tower Block, Harry Brown, Skins and many more, is a real contender for a key role in Star Wars: Episode VII. I believe that he’s met with Abrams and the signs I’m getting are that this meeting went very well.

O’Connell, 23, has made name for himself in Tower Block, Harry Brown and Skins. Though he is a name in the states just yet, that all might change when 300: Rise of an Empire and Angelina Jolie's Starred Up open in theaters next year.

Don't think I've ever seen him in anything.

Good actor, he was the best part of a lackluster series of Skins. I could really see him play Jacen Solo.

He's a great actor. Skins (UK) is what he's most known for.

He was good in the Chav movies. I never saw Skins. Looked annoying.

Ben Skywalker obviously. He resembles Mark Hamill to me.

THISISFRICKIAWESOME

O'Connell's character on the 3rd and 4th series of 'SKINS' literally made it worth watching (Those 2 seasons didn't have shit on the first 2).
A simple character with the best development of any on any season of the show.

The Final episode of all the 'SKINS' series was centered around him, and is to this day the best finale for a series I have ever seen. My second favorite show ever.

He would do Ben Skywalker the most justice, just you wait and see!

That clip was pretty good. He kind of reminds me of Tom Hardy in terms of his mannerisms and line delivery.

Never seen him act in anything else though. So if he gets cast in the movie, I really won't have any positive or negative thing to say about it.

Definitely Ben Skywalker, looks enough like Mark and whatever ginger they get for Mara Jade. I thought it was all but confirmed Cumberbatch was going to be Jacen Solo / Darth Caedus?
