We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

I'm sorry but that footage of him zipping around the electric field just screams CGI and looks like a video game.

Yeah the footage of him in the electric field looks cool but not realistic at all. I'm hoping this is a good flick though. Anyone notice how the Daily Bugle is in one scene?

His costume looks really bad during the day time sections, personally I would have liked his previous one to stick around even though the purist douche bags are gonna hang me for not wanting everything to be like the classics or some such purist bull crap.

the way i judge the films are aslong as the characters ,their arc is good and the story is good,i can excuse minor plotholes and sometimes even major ones because atleast they got what i consider to be the important things right

Almost everything with Spiderman in that trailer looked odd,out of place and quite frankly just terrible, especially the shot of him in the bedroom wall.

They fixed one important problem of the first movie. And that's the writing. In the first movie it got so damn annoying to even hear him speak. He was so much of a dick instead of the wise cracking spidey we all know and love. I think this spider-man movie will make up for the crap-ass first one.
