TRANSFORMERS: Optimus Prime Transforms Into A Gingerbread Man
For many people baking and building a gingerbread house is an essential part of the holiday season, but Norwegian artist, Caroline Eriksson, took it to a whole new level when she transformed her gingerbread into the leader of the Autobots. Hit the jump to check it out.
I never had much luck constructing gingerbread houses. They were decent enough, but certainly wouldn't win any prizes. That's not the case for Caroline Eriksson. She took top prize at a gingerbread "house" competition in Norway. The professional 3D/compositing artist earned $6,500 by using 700-800 individual pieces of gingerbread to construct Optimus Prime, the version seen in Michael Bay's live-action Transformers films.
Starring in "Transformers 4" is Jack Reynor in the starring role of a race car driver. The talented and beautiful Nicola Peltz has been cast in the female lead role of Reynor's girlfriend. Mark Wahlberg has signed on to play Nicola's father Flynn Vincent. Sophia Myles will play a major role as a scientist. Peter Cullen returns as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Glenn Morshower reprises his role as General Morshower. Kelsey Grammer was recently cast as the lead villain named "Harold Attinger". Directors Guild of America DGA Award winner Michael Bay will return to direct his fourth installment of the film series from a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.
TRANSFORMERS 4 will be directed by Michael Bay, from a script written by Ehren Kruger. The cast includes: Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammar, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci and Jack Reynor. Set for release on June 27th, 2014!
