Has TRANSFORMERS 4 Star Jack Reynor Been Cast In STAR WARS VII?

It's been a long time since Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News got a big scoop right so take this with a grain of salt. Knowles claims that Jack Reynor, who will star in Transformers: Age of Extinction, has landed a role in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII.

Harry Knowles of Ain't It Cool News claims that, not one, but two sources have confirmed to Jack Reynor will be apart of J.J. Abrams Star Wars VII.
I'm hearing that Jack Reynor, a young Irish actor that will be in this new Bay TRANSFORMERS trilogy - but that I've now heard from two different sources has landed a role in EPISODE VII. No idea of what role. - Harry Knowles

Reynor is an American-born/Irish-raised actor, whose stardom is quickly rising. Michael Bay recognized his talent while viewing the 2012 indie-film What Richard Did and cast him in Transformers: Age of Extinction. You also might have seen him in Vince Vaughn's shot-for-shot Starbuck remake, which was titled Delivery Man.

There's never been any heavy/groundbreaking acting in the Star Wars movies so I'm cool with it as long as the guy does what he can do with the script he's given. He's got my support.

Idk if he can act worth a damn but I really do hope they go with relative unknowns for the primary cast. Guy looks the part of either Ford or Hamill's son, could be good.

Looks like he could fit into the GFFA. Abrams is usually on point with his casting, and rarely does he get bad performances. I support this news.

@Super12 There is no Jacen Solo.

Disney is not going to incorporate old Dark Horse Comics in Official canon.

He's got a good face for it, Skywalker or Solo (cuz there'd be Skywalker blood in the Solo family), lol.

Who cares, the Star Wars universe went to utter shit after The Empire Strikes Back. Now their galaxy is so small that too many main characters are simply related in one way or another through contrived storytelling on kindergarten levels.

There's a scene in A New Hope after the Death Star has just caught the Millennium Falcon and Vader says.. "I sense something, a presence I have not felt since.."

Yeah, what you felt Mr Darth "Anakin" Vader is your former master who chopped off your arms and legs in some stupid and unnecessary somersault, your son who's come looking for your daughter you just tortured, your old R2 unit that followed you for over 10 years of adventures while you were a Jedi as well as his friend you built when you were a boy-slave out of scrap metal. Not to forget Your future son in law who's best friend and co-pilot also served in Battle with another of your former instructors Yoda.

For crissake make a Star Wars movie about some other family in the galaxy, these guys are more inbred than The Waltons!

oh...and hopefully none from the original universe either.. those guys are super old. might well be remaking Space cowboys.
Ceejay'S right.. new direction is totally needed with NO JEDI!!
ManDeth
ManDeth - 2/18/2014, 2:27 AM
There's nothing from the former Star Wars Expanded Universe worth a f*** anyway.
I remember hearing all the Star Wars fans praising Dark Empire in the early 90's so I read it.
It was pure cheese and garbage. The Emperor Reborn?? Luke casually choosing to join the dark side?? Garbage!! But people still swear that crap was great.

so... Transformers signs a new young star for future movies, and now Disney signs the same actor for another franchise at the same time??

WHY the hell do studios do this so many times? arent there any other young actors or what?

this is being repetitive and uninspiring
