Bond 24 could very well be the best movie of 2015 if the villain is as good as Raoul Silva in Skyfall.

This could be better than skyfall and be the greatest Bond film ever. Mendes is an amazing director. I wanna see some original films from him. Penny dreadful shows he has some good ideas on how to interpret classic stories and other genres.

I like Mendes work on Skyfall but the director I want to see helm Daredevil or Batman is Paul Greengrass (Bourne 2 & 3).

Should have brought back Martin Campbell instead of this hack. Skyfall is incredibly overrated and isn't anywhere near the perfect Casino Royale.

Why do you think Skyfall is overrated?

It would be funny if Martin Campbell went back to bond and Sam Mendes took over Green Lantern.

John BOYEGA young black Bond. Ever wonder how bond was in his younger years. Young and brash and impulsive??? That's be a cool film. A guy can dream. Elba for Bond after Craig.

Oh if we're going to go there, Sean Connery for the win! I would have to go with Craig for a number 2. Roger Moore was a decent Bond, but the movies got too silly.

In terms of the overall movies, the Craig movies are excellent.

Not excited. Skyfall detoured from everything Casino and Quantum was building. If Mr. white and Quatum return then I'll be happy but I don't want another "standalone" bond. I loved the idea that they were building this arc and WAM...forgotten.

~ Apparently he wishes to put even MORE monumentally O.K. So-So 007 features into our living rooms.
- Make no mistake, I'm a HUGE 007 aficionado myself and DC, while perhaps being a bit to "wooden" at times, is a VERY Good 007ite indeed; but, ....imho, Mendes just. doesn't.. have... whatittakes to craft THE James Bond film.

Didn't care for QOS, but CR and Skyfall rank among the best Bond films ever. Up there with Sean Connery's originals.

I enjoyed Skyfall but it was not as good as it was hyped to be. IMO, the villain was terrible.

Well, he did pave the way to making Bond fun again so it's only fitting he gets to expand on what he set up in Skyfall. And I mean Connery fun, not Brosnan or Moore "fun"...

That's speaking as an Irishman, Pierce Brosnan comes from a town not far from where I live and I still think Daniel Craig is the best 007 since Sean Connery, or George Lazenby for that matter.
TheOverlord
TheOverlord - 4/29/2014, 2:59 PM
Roger Moore was The Saint and Pierce Brosnan was Remington Steele. They were both good, but not quite right -- just Bond imitations. Connery was the original and Craig is the first one to really reinvent the role for himself since then.

I don't think Nolan will ever do one. He isn't one to just use a character as is, he would want to make it his own and reinvent the character, and I doubt that Broccoli/Eon would ever let that happen.
