First Look At Rebooted DANGER MOUSE & Penfold

Crumbs! We heard that the BBC were bringing the rodent super-spy and his trusty hamster sidekick back for a new episode run, and now we have our first glimpse of the (other) dynamic duo. They've kept the classic character designs..and Penfold looks pretty much identical to his '80s counterpart.

First Bananaman now Danger Mouse? This is a good time for fans of '80s Brit-toons. The show is being rebooted by Ireland’s Boulder Media, with Horrible Histories‘ Ben Ward on script duty. No word yet on who'll be providing the voices, but one would hope British comedy icon David Jason might consider returning to bring DM back to life again.

Yes a previous evil incarnation of Count Duckula appeared in Danger Mouse.
The one who appeared in his own series was resurrected using tomato ketchup instead of blood and became a vegetarian.
