Some of these you will have seen, but I consider myself a massive fan of this trilogy and I hadn't come across quite a few of 'em. In anticipation of Interstellar, here are a batch of great pics from Batman Begins, The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises.
As promotion for Christopher Nolan's sci-fi epic Interstellar amps up, The Playlist have gathered together over 100 behind-the-scenes images from Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises -- which must undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest trilogies of all time. As I said, many of the snaps will be familiar to you, but there are quite a few rarities in there too. Enjoy.
The Dark Knight Trilogy is a set of three Christopher Nolan Batman movies. It includes Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and the last movie The Dark Knight Rises (2012). Only Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Cillian Murphy appeared in all three movies. All cast and crew members worked on all three movies, except for music composer James Newton Howard who did not work on The Dark Knight Rises. Composer Hans Zimmer composed the soundtracks for all three movies. Katie Holmes played Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins, but was replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in The Dark Knight. Liam Neeson appeared as Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins and in The Dark Knight Rises. All three movies became a success. Only The Dark Knight reached number 1 in the box-office. The Dark Knight Rises is now in number 2 in the 2012 box-office worldwide. Batman Begins was at number 9. Batman Begins earned $372,710,015 worldwide.
