TMNT Season 2 Finale "Invasion" Clip; First Stills & Footage From Season 3

Hero Complex have posted a clip from tomorrow's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2-hour season finale, featuring Casey and Raph encountering Krang Prime. There's also stills from the season 3 première ep, and a clip giving us our first listen of Seth Green as Leonardo.

Some fan-favourite characters who'll be making their debut in season 3 of TMNT: Mondo Gecko and the Punk Frogs.




Here are the clips. The first is from the season 2 finale, the second from "Within The Woods", the first episode from season 3 which premières October 3rd. There's no embeds, so click on each image to watch.




As we know, Seth Green will take over from Orange Is The New Blacks's Jason Biggs as the voice of Leonardo in season 3, and at the link below you can check out an interview with the self-professed fanboy actor.

What the [frick] did they do to the frogs? Instead of reinventing them as bad-ass warriors they made them retarded and i [frick]ing hate this version of Casey Jones.

It's either a turd, beehive, or sap. But yeah, not feeling the designs of Mondo Gecko and the Punk Frogs. The new Bebop and Rocksteady rub me the wrong way too.

I love the show, but character designs beyond the Turtles, Spinter and Shredder has been bad from the start.

That's not Mondo Geko. Its another frog character named Napoleon.

Seth's voice didn't really seem to fit in that clip IMO :( I like him a lot though so I have faith that it'll work in the long run.

That article is wrong too, Robbie Rist (Mikey from the 90s TMNT movies) is playing Mondo Gecko.

I actually really love the series' version of Slash. I thought his design was bad at first but I really grew to love it.

The character designs can be a bit iffy at times though. I still don't like Shredder's design. And sometimes it feels like it can't decide whether it wants to appeal to the dark and gritty 2003 fans or the light hearted and goofy 1987 fans.

The series is such an obvious mix of the two, that it often forgets to have its own identity - which it does have one.

The frogs look terrible. Ugh. This cartoon is garbage, I'm sorry. The original 80's cartoon was awesome, as well as the 2K3 version. Also Seth's voice does not fit Leo AT ALL. They've changed his voice 4 different times for this series. They can never do Leo real justice and its a shame cause he's my favorite turtle. It's like casting Knoxville for the voice all over agin.

I loved the Mondo Gecko action figure when I was a kid. I still have it somewhere.

This show is just getting better and better. They're taking their time introducing stuff. They saved Casey Jones till season 2, they've saved Rocksteady and Bebop for season 3. They truly care about telling a story and having fun.
