I can't stand Scarlet Witch. Can we please ban her from all future comics? She' just doesn't fit to me.

I really HOPE this event ends up making sense. I can still feel the burn of Battle of the Atom :/

I was so happy when Mag crushed his head (Since when does Skull have a human face? The "red skull" was breaking apart when Maggie was beating his ass), and got so pissed when Skull turned into this thing. Which we knew was coming, I just wish it had happened another way.

Scarlett needs to stop acting stupid and put an end to Red Skull. Simplest thing for her to do. All that crying about not killing him is bullsh*t

W.....T........F...........
Red Onslaught?
please.....

Marvel has screwed their comic line up so bad and diluted it horribly.
I want a return to simpler days. When there were only a couple books for each IP.

I took my son to the comic book store for the first time to try and get him interested but it was complete overkill. I wanted to get him an Avengers or SpiderMan book. Good F-ing Luck. There were dozens of each and none of them seemed to make any sense.

Marvel has tried to make everything they do "EPIC" every week. They need to slow down and focus on the story and art and cull all of the crap they put out.

I love how they've altered (I know it wasn't today) Doctor Strange's costume/robes.
Lets see summer 2013 we find out Marvel has officially put Doctor Strange on the to-be-made list.
And now we start being herded and prepared for it.
First step . . . change the costume.

SURE, I hear 'ya already.
"But Krazy, he's had a lot of costume changes down through the years. Why bother noting THIS one?"
Because all those changes were short term.
He always put the tights, tunic, and cape back on.

But this time, he has those loose fitting pants and boots. It's almost SHIELD issue.
From there it's a short jump to the movie costume (whatever normal, albeit eccentric old guy costume THAT may be).

But at least they'll be able to say, "It's based on the source material!"

A. This story has been building since the beginning of Uncanny Avengers and the march to Axis has been FANTASTIC!!!!!
B. Clone Saga wasn't that bad. Ben Reilly was an awesome character and Peter dealing with being a clone was a great story. Plus Judas and Scrier and Jackle were cool characters
C. When Red Skull took Xavier's brain, it's only a matter of time before he would unlock Onslaught. Kinda makes sense

Just sayin'

@ Gusto

If you want an awesome Avengers story arc to get in to, The New Avengers incursion has been a great story. It's about to tie in with Avengers where Captain America leads a team to take down the Illuminate (Dr. Strange, Iron Man, Beast, Richards, Black Bolt, Black Panther, Namore, New Avengers) That story has been EPIC so far.

It's been ongoing with New Avengers, picks up at the end of Inifinity, goes through Original Sin, and is now going to climax. hehehehe climax...

@ Kindred Mac, agreed it's hard to jump in right now. Since A vs X it's been hard to jump in. I'd suggest to by hardcovers that collect key issues and read full story arcs.

@sicknimon

I agree that's the way to read them. I'm all about the trade paperbacks now.

I wonder if they're getting new young readers (for the future), or like old time radio collections they're content to sell to a dying bread?

To the people complaining:

Have you actually been reading Uncanny Avengers from the 1st issue to the latest?

Red Skull is making a bold statement. He says all "genetic pigs" and mutations shall become servant to homo sapien. And indeed, his entire army is made of outcast genejokes.
Is anyone else seeing shades of Earth-X happening?
A psychic will-bending Skull trying to take over the world while Thor becomes a female and Terrigen mists are released over the Earth. Nick Fury, Dum Dum, and the Watcher die as reality crumbles. Even the Ultimate books say that Franklin Richards is the only one that can save Earth from the coming cataclysm. It all seems so familiar.

lol i got into axel and remender via twitter. they both actually responded. because if red skull took charles' brain. charles would overpower red skull. red skull doesnt have the mental capacity to fight charles. and remender quoted that red skull took 76.1% of charles' brain into his own head.

But Ror, you didn't include the totally awesome main cover!

@osideous I think they addressed that a couple weeks ago. Xavier fought him for a while, but knowing that he was losing, he decided to use the last of his willpower to send his astral form to warn others of the Skull's plot.

And coincidentally or not, the Red Skull killed Xavier in Earth X.

Why does this seem so FAMILIAR?

Last time Marvel had everyone versus Onslaught,we ended up with Heroes Reborn.

This one...I'll wait and see.

I've got a feeling we're going to see a whole bunch of new #1 issues after this event...again....
rabid
rabid - 10/3/2014, 2:58 AM
i believe that might be their endgoal: to destroy the 616 and recreate a new universe inside the Negative Zone in which Franklin Richards recreates a reality that blends the 616 and Ultimate into one cinematic-style universe.
