"Every hour on that planet will be seven years back on Earth.” And there we have it -- this explains why Coop's daughter ages into Jessica Chastain over the course of the film. Her scenes won't be set after the events of the space mission, but will occur simultaneously in some very Inception-like time bending shenanigans.

The adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

Directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan (“Inception,” “The Dark Knight” Trilogy), a script based on the combination of an original idea by Nolan and an existing script by Jonathan Nolan. The cast includes: Matthew McConaughey (“Magic Mike”), Anne Hathaway (“Les Miserables”), Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Bill Irwin (“Rachel Getting Married”), John Lithgow (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), Casey Affleck (“Gone Baby Gone”), David Gyasi (“Cloud Atlas”), Wes Bentley (“The Hunger Games”), Mackenzie Foy (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2”) Timothée Chalamet (TV’s “Homeland”), Topher Grace (“Spider-Man 3”), David Oyelowo (“Jack Reacher”), Ellen Burstyn (“The Exorcist”), and Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”.The film will be released in IMAX® and 35mm theaters on November 7, 2014.

Looking at the film's IMDb page kind of already spoiled it for me as Jessica Chastain was listed as Adult Murph and Ellen Burstyn was listed as Old Murph.

I am a huge fan of Chris Nolan and The Dark Knight is my favorite movie of all time, but I just can't get myself excited for this movie. I hate to say it, but it does look pretty boring compared to all his other films.

In Nolan we trust. He's one of the best filmmakers alive, and all of his movies have been remarkable so far.

"please stick to Disney sci fi where holding hands defeats infinity gems and a dance off is the best thing for a conflict in space."

@MantiniuMan

the guardians were holding hands to channel the power of gem through all of them because one human/alien body couldn't take it,you remember the alien chick in the collectors collection that's what happens if you ain't powerful enough to take it.

starlord dancing was a distraction,its not what defeated ronan.

sometimes,no most of the time you are a f*ckin idiot.

I find it interesting how some people on this site bash Hollywood films like Transformers for being brainless, explosion-filled action films with no stories and how they continue to be churned out every year by film studios, and then turn around and shit on films like Inception, or Interstellar, calling them boring or pretentious, with not enough action.

I loved GOTG by the way, it's the best Marvel film after the Avengers in my opinion. Probably tied with Iron Man 1.
