Enraged, Smaug rains his fiery wrath down upon the defenseless men, women and children of Lake-town. Obsessed above all else with his reclaimed treasure, Thorin sacrifices friendship and honor to hoard it as Bilbo’s frantic attempts to make him see reason drive the Hobbit towards a desperate and dangerous choice. But there are even greater dangers ahead. Unseen by any but the Wizard Gandalf, the great enemy Sauron has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends in the epic Battle of the Five Armies, as the future of Middle-earth hangs in the balance.

DamianWayne - Those could work with some prosthetics, and props. I'm fine with CGI, but it does seem a bit much in this series. Some of the aforementioned examples could help enhance these movies IMO.

To be fair, Bilbo Baggins involvement in the actual book by this point is really minimal.

All Hobbit movies suffer from Jackson's recent obsession with CGI. He's only shadow of his former self, I don't understand how you can go from Braindead to this.

Did CGI murder an entire nation at some point? Because it sure as [frick] seems like it from the way you people (and MANY others) talk about it most of the time. As long as it looks good who the [frick] cares if its done with real stuff or on a computer?
