Has any one read the first 2 canonical books? The rebels book and Tarkin? I've been thinking about getting back into SW books. Good jumping one point.

That all depends on whether Abrams considers the Clone Wars series to be canon or part of the expanded universe. Either way, I doubt it will tie in with his work but if it's based off of scripts for the 7th season we never got then it should tie in with the prequels. I agree though, great cover art! Glad someone is providing a definitive end to the Clone Wars!

I'm so confused with the Star Wars universe. What is canon and what isn't?

@LastOfKrypton

The six movies, the 2008 Clone Wars cartoon, Rebels and all 2014 to onward novel, comics and games are canon. Everything pre then isn't.

So Darth Bane, Darth Revan etc.. are not canon?
What a shame I really liked them.

Don't panic it's not too hard to follow. 6 movies, 2 animated series in Clone Wars and Rebels, darth maul son of dathomir comicbook, and all books released after Star Wars: A New Dawn. So far New Dawn and Tarkin have been the only books to have been released so far. Starwars.com already covered this aspect already so i dont know why do people still think Abrams or whatever have to approve of it. In fact it's the other way around where the filmmakers and story team for Lucas have to be collaborative when making all these canon stories. I'm just stating the facts.

And that cover is really cool....they look like badass refugees.

well if you watch Clones Wars then you would know Darth Bane is canon and that he created the rule of two. Revan was going to be made canon in Clone Wars too but Lucas changed his mind last minute. Now with Lucas gone they may be able to make Revan canon and with the recent episode 7 villain rumors.....we might just see his helmet once again. Just gotta wait and see. I recommend keeping up with canon if you want to find out but only if you're a hardcore fan.

@grif

you're such a [frick]ing dumbass for saying that. Quinlan Vos was clearly created way before the dofp version of warpath. And he's a different character. This is why I spit at all your comments because you're [frick]ing retarded. You need help grif. Being mad all the time is no good for your health.
