An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

The new issue of Empire goes on sale December 31st, and is packed full of Fury Road goodies. You can find more info on that at the link below.

You know, i never saw the original films, so I really don't know how they are supposed to go. That being said, the original has like a 100% on rotten tomatoes, along with Mel Gibson. so the fact that this film isn't being called shit, makes me want to check it out

Apparently this movie takes place between 1st and 2nd films but imo the way the first one ends it does a great job of setting up his character for the 2nd. I mean movie will undoubtedly entertain I'm just wondering what they are going to add to the character of Max.

@Doopie please believe Hardy has too much class to retaliate. He probably let it happen and didn't want to start shit ion set. Plus, Shia is a psycho.

When I saw the trailer for the first time, and heard "my world is fire and blood" - I was the asshole in the theater who blurted out "is he a Targaryen?"

I like Tom Hardy. I thought that the first two Mad Max movies were alright with the budget they had to work with. With the amount of cult following these movies have, I was kind of expecting a bit more, but nonetheless, they're interesting.

I do kind of wonder though - what's the story?
