FAN MADE: Brilliant Drew Struzan Inspired STAR WARS EPISODE VII Poster

We've seen quite a few fan posters for Star Wars Episode VII at this stage, but I think you'll agree that this one - done in the style of celebrated poster artist Drew Struzan - is the best yet. Check it out after the jump..

Drew Struzan is responsible for - among many other things - the best Star Wars movie poster art we've seen, and here artist Adam Schickling takes a leaf out of his book for this very impressive Star Wars Episode VII poster. Have a look at his takes on older versions of Luke, Leia, Han, Lando and even a graying Chewie..

Fischer wont even look that good. I just watched the Roast of Roseanne the other day (only thing that was on) and she's had way too much plastic surgery. They might need to do some CGI work on her face.

Very nicely painted but the poster looks like an ad for another holiday special, way too many happy faces, zero drama. I doubt very much if any of those old actors are going to be the focus of the new movies. We don't need a SW version of Grumpy Old Men.

What i hate about these posters are they're only old characters we've seen. What about new ones. No one wants it to be about Old people. Include some of the kids of Luke and Leia and Han. I've seen MUCH better

For some reason this poster makes me sad that the original cast are no longer pretty, thin, young and fit.

RedHood13 I don't think your not going to see the posters with the kids until they are all casted.

For me, I think this is fantastic artwork.

I appreciate the talent and spirit conveyed in this homage/mimic of Drew Struzan. I'm overwhelmed with joy at the prospect of the original cast in an all new STAR WARS film. However, the original cast is the icing, not necessarily the cake. Compiling them on a poster without contrast, opposition or NEW characters just reminds me that they are old and I hope they get in the gym.

Still, the best thing to happen to STAR WARS since the EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.

Wow you know it's funny that R2 and 3PO Are likely going to be the only Star Wars Characters to be in all the movies. It's highly unlikely that we'll see Anakin/Vader, and Obi-Wan isn't a total lock either.

Seeing Luke, Han and Leia looking that old also makes me sad. I don't think I want to see old versions of these characters I love so much :(

Time to put the beard on Hamil big time. Time to make Luke a bad ass Jedi. This is a very nice piece of work that being said.

We don't need the original cast to be pretty. Let them look aged and battle-worn. Just not botox-worn.

And if this had some hint of the next generation, it might not be so depressing. Or just show them doing something.

They should be even more wiley and fierce because of their age and after all the ass they've whomped.

Here's a picture for you...They actually get Carrie Fisher back into the "bikini". Now, imagine not being able to see said bikini due to it being covered by the fat that now covers her body. Furthermore, imagine the funk that billows out from between those rolls after she sweats from a long, hot day in the sweltering desert heat!
No thank you. I'll just watch the original trilogy and be happy.
I hope I didn't ruin the next movie for anyone....
