Here's a portion of the interview with Pak, who reveals that he'll be taking the fledgling heroes straight to Earth 2 where they'll meet older, more experienced versions of themselves.

"I'm really excited about this story because, like I said, we've got the young, raw Superman and Batman from our world, and now they're going to meet an older, more experienced and, frankly, stronger and better Superman and Batman. And also, the Earth 2 Superman and Batman have a very different relationship from the Superman and Batman in our world at this point in time. So they're going to be challenged on all sorts of levels. And of course, there's going to be be another threat — a sort of a big, worlds-threatening threat that all four of these characters are going to have to figure out what their response is going to be. There are going to be some great opportunities for all these characters to be challenged on multiple levels. And it's just really rich, meaty stuff. I'm having a blast with it."

Pak also name-drops Catwoman as one of the other characters the duo will be coming into contact with. There's plenty more at the link below so be sure to click on over and take a look.

WHOA! I loved the first image, it REALLY depicts how different their lives have been and why they act the way they do as superheroes.

Damn Lee's art is just gorgeous. His art for the Dark Tower mini-series for Marvel is breathtaking.

Its Greg Pak so the writing should be pretty good, his Hulk run is excellent and Magneto:Testament is just heartbreaking. Obviously Bat and Supes are totally different characters but theoretically it shouldn't be terrible.

Clark got a case of video game hair. It looks like the hair is painted on a bald head. No depth

Love the whole Bruce meets Clark thing before they meet as Batman and Superman.Comic book irony at it's best.

Art looks great, different style from your usual superhero comic art. Story arc sounds really interesting. So Pak is setting up the premise that the NEW 52 Clark and Bruce were aware of and knew of Earth 2 and it's heroes well before they formed the JL.
Great to see the Earth 2 Superman and Batman again and that they had a hand in training New 52 Clark and Bruce. Should make for great future stories in JL.

Are those the Kents' bodies lying in the road?

Creeping Johnsism strikes again, if so. Apparently characters aren't 'kewl' unless they have a few violent deaths in their past. WTF?

In all honesty, there's not much difference between Batman and Superman. They're one in the same, they just handle things differently.

The small details get me every time. I love that the first image's panels make the shape of Superman's shield and the Bat Symbol
