Does Batman liked to be tied or something? Most of these covers you see ol' Bats tied up. He' a freak, huh?

Joker's Daughter? What's wrong with Harley?

Hmmm. I might have been more excited about this Joker's Daughter book... if it weren't being written by Ann Nocenti, who consistently churns out some of the worse work in the DCU on a monthly basis.

Looks like one more New 52 reboot is gonna get botched right out the gate...

That is a terrible design for Mister Freeze. The costume looks terrible and his body is unnaturally bent. He kinda looks like Voldo from Soul Caliber with the hunched shoulders, lanky limbs, and mesh costume.

@canceltheapocalypse: "What's wrong with Harley?" You mean other than the fact that they completely botched her costume in the reboot, or the fact that they've screwed her up completely by having her fall OUT of love with the Joker during the Death of the Family arc?

I'd say the fact that they won't just let her stay a villain.

I hate it when comic companies try to capitalize on a villain's popularity by turning him or her into an anti-hero. They did it to Venom, they did it to Bane (until the reboot and TDKR switched him back into a baddie), and, most annoyingly of all, they did it to Red Hood-- a baddie that was primed to be one of the best Bat-villains in YEARS, until a combination of Countdown, Grant Morrison, and the New 52 robbed him of everything that made him a compelling character.

Harley's just one of the latest to be given the anti-hero treatment, and all it's done is rob Batman of yet ANOTHER great enemy. So it's not too surprising that someone decided to basically just rip off Harley and make her meaner and more "punk" rather than come up with a new villain.

Man I'm hating the price of all of these comics.
I could've bought each release for September but at $3.99 an issue? Nope.

Why they felt like they needed to 'update' Mr. Freeze is beyond me. I guess they decided that exposed arms would make him more menacing? And with the gun sideways? Haha it just looks ridiculous. Takes away from the fact that he's supposed to be cold and calculating. His classic costume was perfect.

Joker's Daughter?

hey, the more KC characters in DCU canon, the better.

now where's my Nightstar?

Wow! A nearly unanimous disapproval of this latest effort...

I'm kinda in league with the anti-sentiment, but only because they did this like four or five years ago. Faces of Evil, wasn't it called?

My problem with the New 52 boils down to this...

If you want to reboot, relaunch, re-imagine(whatever the hell it is) and keep some elements intact and others not, then retell the tales that have been deemed non-canonical like the Crisis on Infinite Earths. I'd love to see a re-imagined, modern Crisis story. I've been thinking it would be cool if they retold Crisis on Infinite Earths, Barry sacrificed himself again-OR NOT and is saved by a temporally misplaced Wally West! And someone Wally and a few other lost classic characters set everything right but keep some elements of the New 52 that work around...Oh, I'm a dreamer...

No one seems to want new characters or re-imagined characters.

Why does everyone act like "Joker's Daughter" is a new concept? I mean, she's from the 70s!

If that Joker's Daughter does turn out to Harper Row, I will be pissed. Harper Row better be the next Robin.

I mean Ann Nocenti handling the reveal that Joker's Daughter is Harper Row. I don't think Snyder would let that slide. If anyone is doing it Snyder would.

DC just recently released art from the redesign of Joker's daughter and she was skinny as a stick. Now she's chubby...Must of been a rough couple of months..
