EXCLUSIVE: Which Classic Spidey Character Is Colm Feore Playing In TASM 2?

We've got a couple of very interesting bits of Spidey related loveliness for you today. First off -- as I'm sure you've gathered from the image above -- we can 100% confirm that Colm Feore is actually playing Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And that's not all -- apparently he will join forces with Rhino, Electro and Green Goblin to form the first four members of The Sinister Six, setting them up for the threequel. Who the other two will be is unknown, but it's always possible The Lizard could return as one of them. It also seems that we can forget all that stuff about Norman Osborn not taking up the Green Goblin mantel in the movie! Chris Cooper was spotted on set as Goblin (head in place;) battling Spider-Man, and we're told they'll likely be duking it out in the movie's climax, no doubt leading to the death of Miss Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). THe problem is that Adrian Toomes, Harry Osborn, and Rhino should have been introduced as minor characters in the first film.

They can do it. Most of the villains are tech-related and would have some kind of tie to Oscorp. They don't need to have huge fights with every villain and create some huge character arc for each one. X-Men did fine with lots of villains (well, all except the 3rd one) so as long as thy figure out how to balance it out it should be fine.

I don't know for certain if he'll actually be flying around fighting Spidey in this film, but he'd definitely Tooms..so it's likely that the end will set up Vulture at the very least.

The problem was with spider-man 3 is that previous villans both died and they tried to introduce two villans and make them important in a couple of minutes (venom). I think its smart for them to introduce the some villans here and allow them to reappear in the third film.

Yeah, I'm with @53. Where are the pics of Cooper as Goblin? Shit, I'm pretty surprised that they're bringing in Gobby in the second film. I, along with other CBMers, have figured that we'd see him suit up as GG in TASM3.

Damn that is a lot of villains for one film but hey i think Marc Webb knows what he is trying to do and is trying to go off with a bang with this Spider Man movie and i get it. Yeah it is a bit too much but i have faith in Marc Webb. Personally i want spider man to be in his own universe to be honest i don't want the Marvel cinematic Universe that is apart of Marvel to be overcrowded and next thing you know it becomes comic book continuity

You guys need to chill with this film has to bomb bullshit just so it can go back to marvel and to me this is not fair what so ever. If that happens what you want another Spider Man reboot and then bullshit continuity crap. I dont want the MCU to become Comic Book Continuity
