David S. Goyer Confirmed To Write JUSTICE LEAGUE For WB

It seems like those rumors from a while back were true: Along with a very interesting update to Deadline's Man Of Steel sequel story, we (may) have some info straight from Goyer himself while speaking at the movie's premiere.

Along with the news that David S. Goyer would return to work on the script for the Man of Steel sequel, Deadline have now revealed that he's also writing Justice League! "Goyers’ deal is part of a huge 3-picture deal he signed at Warner Bros for Man Of Steel, the sequel, and Justice League with Superman". We reported a rumor that claimed as much a while ago, but there had been no confirmation or debunking, and most of us assumed it was just wishful (or not depending on whether you're a fan) thinking. Also, it seems Kel from Latino Review overheard the writer admit that he's working on the movie at the Man Of Steel premiere:

Of course he may have misheard, but the Deadline info alone would seem to confirm that Goyer is indeed penning WB's Justice League flick. What do you guys think of this news?

I watched the premiere and he never said he would be writing Justice League. He said he wrote for the JSA comic for 4 years, but that was it.

The putting Avengers on alert was more of a tongue in cheek comment. Goyer was joking.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.

Look at Goyer's screenplay filmography. Better off just creating the story.

Only if one of the Nolan bros co-writes. Goyer can be really hit-or-miss (just look at Blade Trinity and Ghost Rider 2). Da Vinci's Demon's is good though, I just think he needs the talents of one (or both) of the Nolan's to really make an outstanding superhero film.

If it's Goyer solo I'd be worried.

Some characters will be left off the team just like in Avengers. Bats, Supes, and WW...and then anything goes.

Whatever they [officially] announce, I'm bout it, bout it. Just seeing the MOS trailers makes me want to see a Justice League movie. I still wouldn't be surprised to find out Timm it's involved.

@ThePowerCosmic

Yes, I am sure you won't watch awesome fu.cking movie because Darkseid isn't in it.

Darkseid is my favorite villain too, but I'll see MoS 2 regardless of who the villain is. Hell it could be Toyman and I'd see it.
