GAME OF THRONES: Giant Dragon Skull Discovered On Dorset Beach

GAME OF THRONES: Giant Dragon Skull Discovered On Dorset Beach

Okay, so it's not a real dragon skull (unfortunately), but one of the coolest bits of tv/movie promotion we've seen. Just take a look at what was found in the sands of Charmouth beach on Dorset's Jurassic Coast yesterday morning..

The 40-foot skull is (obviously) a man-made sculpture designed by a team of three, taking over two months to construct. It was created by movies and TV streaming service Blinkbox, to celebrate the arrival of HBO's third season of Game of Thrones on its service on July 15th. "Game of Thrones is easily the most talked-about TV show of the moment," said Ben Ayers of Blinkbox. "We wanted to mark its arrival on Blinkbox with a spectacle every bit as dramatic as this amazing series." I would say they succeeded! Game of Thrones season 3 will be available July 15 at 9am exclusively on Blinkbox, ahead of its DVD and Blu-ray release.

I'm quite happy GoT is receiving all this attention. It deserves every bit of it.

@MrCritic115 Considering the Hobbit sucks and GoT doesn't, I doubt it.

I need to watch Game of Thrones. And that teaser image was kinda weird. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that.

^ SkeemAn

They had Arya hiding in a Giant Dragon skull in Season 1 under King's Landing. It has sort of already been in the show or a form of it.

So is this where the Kingsmoot will take place then? They will be shuffling stuff around to compress the story i'm sure so this seems to be a likely indication of the ironborn-related plot.
