Yup, the first flight was the best scene of the film IMO. So inspiring. We need more of that in MOS 2.
MrDonut
MrDonut - 8/19/2013, 4:04 PM
The flight scene where Clark starts smiling as he goes full flight around the world was classic Superman, enjoyed Man of Steel but am hoping to see that more classic kind of Superman in World's Finest or whatever they call it

They set up MoS 2 perfectly at the end of MoS, it had the potential to make up for everything wrong with MoS and win fans and critics over but it seems WB would sooner rather build the shared DCCU first. Something I'm not necessarily against though.

'Explore the legendary characters of the Superman mythology.' Hey, at least the special features are going to. Lord knows the actual film didn't.

Supersonicboobs - 8/19/2013, 4:12 PM
man of steel was awesome.... but i feel goyer got to get a co writer for the screen play...or get a professional screenwriter to add more depth to the dialogue and build character depth too...
i honestly dont kno why WB dont review their sequel script.
doesnt anyone else think they need to get a good screenwriter or something???
Supersonicboobs
Supersonicboobs - 8/19/2013, 4:14 PM
im ok with a shared universe but they should hav made a sequel with only supes to establish the character....yuh kno flesh him out abit more before other superheroes come into play....

Best CBM & movie this year so far for me will be adding to my DC collection for sure!
Supersonicboobs
Supersonicboobs - 8/19/2013, 4:16 PM
i honestly liked the fact that he didnt become fully superman at the end of it....a refreshing break from the cliche.... but goyer needs to add more depth to his script...i.e dialogue
TheWolverine08
TheWolverine08 - 8/19/2013, 4:18 PM
It's been a weird year for CBMs. IM3 was well received by critics, but divided among fans. MOS was not well received by critics, but liked by fans (mostly). The Wolverine and Kick Ass were basically forgotten. Thor pretty much has to save the year now. I hope 2014 is better.

Evidently no deleted scenes? That disappoints me a little. I'll do what I always do, wait to get a cheaper used copy. I'm cheap.

Zack synder & Goyer .....PLEASE DO NOT F#%k up the sequel ...please!!!!!

TheFox
TheFox - 8/19/2013, 4:22 PM
Okay, first of all... WHAT THE HELL! Didn't they already release the cover art for the Blu-Ray? And IMO, it was better than this! It was the standard one-sheet, but with Superman re-oriented so that he was more focused in the frame! THAT WAS GOOD ART! I don't want to settle for a lousy logo cover... it just looks too generic. Ugh.

Secondly, November? God damn it, I can't wait that long! I was hoping to score this for my birthday in October! I mean, I get that they're pushing for a strong Christmas release, but...

... Oh, hell. I'm just whining about stuff that doesn't really amount to much. HELLS YES, I'm getting this sucker as soon as it comes out-- good cover art of no!

I doubt this is the final version of the cover art.

Normally there is some difference between the dvd and blu-ray. I bet when it actually comes out it'll be different.

naterator
naterator - 8/19/2013, 4:24 PM
no deleted scenes? well this is ok.....hoping the reason for this is because they plan to release a longer version of the movie. I think they probably cut a good amount out. maybe thats why some of it felt choppy.
TheFox
TheFox - 8/19/2013, 4:24 PM
Still, I would have much preferred this cover art:
