Official EXPENDABLES 3 Synopsis & Cast List Revealed; First Look At Mel Gibson On Set

Sylvester Stallone and Lionsgate have released some offcial details for their upcoming Expendables threequel, giving us a breakdown of the plot and the old and new faces we can expect to see in the movie. We also have our first look at Mel Gibson on set as ..get this...'Conrad Stonebanks'!

"In The Expendables 3, Barney Ross (Stallone), Lee Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought.

"Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables, but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy [see above]. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet."

Here is the final cast list for the movie. You'll notice that rumored stars Nic Cage and Jackie Chan are absent, as well as Mickey Rourke, Chuck Norris and, obviously, Bruce Willis. Expendables 3 stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford and is set for release August 15th 2014.

Why wait for Hugh Jackman to get older?
Get Mel Gibson to star as OLD MAN LOGAN in a film.
He's shorter, meaner & could pull off a grizzled old Wolverine.
