Will Detroit Sub For Gotham In MAN OF STEEL Sequel? Will Affleck Direct Future BATMAN Movies?

Like I said in the other article I can see Detroit being perfect for Gotham City. Everywhere could work for Crime Alley.

That being said if this is true it will be a great thing for Detroit. So I hope it is going to happen.

Makes sense as Ben has great films under his belt for WB. Dude is about to get filthy rich if he choose to direct them. He better have a percentage of the box office earnings as his pay for the job. 5% is all he needs in his contract.

Ben is a good choice for Batman and as a helmer. He's a much seasoned actor and his films have a tone that suits Batmans universe.

I think Ben is going to make a great Batman. Out of all those actors whose name's were getting thrown around, here comes WB and BAM right out of left field. Can't wait 2015!!! Ad Levi... I am with you on the whole power user thing. To me it takes away what I started coming to this site for from the start which was there was no hierarchy bullshit. It was all about scoops and exclusives and no one cared who posted what first. Now it kind of seems like a contest between nerds and jocks where the power users just mock and bully the rest of us just because they feel they're "superior". People put lots of time and effort into their articles as do the power users but I feel everyone should be able to have their artistic integrity intact and not have their hard work altered or deleted. I understand not everyone is a Pulitzer Prize Winning author but there is ways around all of this. Maybe an automatic grammar and spell check option when creating articles? Something..

I like the idea of Detroit playing Gotham City.

But I'm not too keen on the idea of Affleck acting AND directing. The films he's directed seem extremely grounded in reality. I don't want another Nolanesque Batman. And I think they should just let him focus on ACTING.

Let someone else build on what Snyder will do with Batman in WF and have them direct the solo films.
