Bleeding Cool have posted some details from a Warner Bros. casting call that's apparently doing the rounds with the agencies right now. They don't give too much away, but they do say that there's chatter going on in certain circles that this is in fact for the role of Princess Diana of Themyscira, better known as Wonder Woman!
"I can tell you that she’ll be somewhere between twenty five and thirty three – or at least leave the impression of a woman in that age range, whatever that might be. I can tell you that she needs to be physically strong. They’re specific about that. And I can tell you that the discussion in some agencies who have been submitting actors for this role is that they’re sending up candidates for the role of Wonder Woman. They don’t know that it’s her, it’s just become their expectation, or at least a rumour that’s coloured their conception."
According to Bleeding Cool WB have refused to confirm this, but nor have they denied it..and the level of secrecy surrounding it does suggest that it's not just a made-up character or the love interest for Bruce Wayne that was previously reported. This could very well be WB's way of moving things along with that
Justice League flick without having to give Diana her own solo movie first. Then again, introducing both Batman AND Wonder Woman into the
Man Of Steel sequel might be a bit much. What do you guys think? Hopefully we'll have some more info soon.
