Beginning a bold new series that details the relationship between The Man of Steel and the Warrior Princess as rising star writer Charles Soule is joined by fan favorite artist Tony S. Daniel to tell the tale of a romance that will shake the stars themselves. These two super-beings love each other, but not everyone shares their joy. Some fear it, some test it—and some will try to kill for it. Some say love is a battlefield, but where Superman and Wonder Woman are concerned it spells Doomsday!

Not interested and its not Wonder Woman or Supermans fault. Its the combination of the two and the romantic innuendo that turns me off to the title.

I'm with BlackJack10 on both points - I forget WW can fly sometimes (still think it's unnecessary though), and I won't pick this up unless there are some really good reviews.

I'm sick of seeing high heels on heroines. Kinda defeats the image of them being agile, acrobatic characters, in a way....

I like this relationship! It's very reminiscent of Supes and WW relationship in Kingdom Come, which is one of my favorite comics

Some people say that Superman and Wonder Woman is the new 52 recycling ideas...then they say Superman should be with Lois...

Because Lois and Superman is fresh and new, right? Morons. -_-

@mbembet - Better than masking her one of Batman's endless smuts.

@CavEl Being one of Batman's smuts is an honor!

Not a fan of this relationship. It feels too forced and too soon. If it were another few years down the line than maybe. Now, it just feels like a gimmick.

gonna pick this up, I think

@mbembet Actually I see Superman being reduced as a personal f*ckbody to Wonder Woman. Instead of helping an old lady cross the street or save a kitten from the tree, he will now be told what time Wonder Woman needs to see him. He will even have to ask for her permission to save people from a burning building

Here's a prediction: Most all the robotic haters who have already decided that Wonder Woman is getting the raw deal in this relationship WITHOUT EVEN READY THE STORIES will write:
1) Superman? Pfft! She belongs with Batman 'cause throwing herself at an unresponsive man is a good example for young girls and should show them what a stable self-respecting woman would do.
2) This is so predictable, why not do something original like Lois and Superman? Having the potential of being an Alpha Male, Superman needs to know his place---eh, I mean to be grounded and more submissive and whiny—eh, I mean humanized.
3) Take a look at the different covers-- In two covers, Superman is flying under Wonder Woman-- that indicates male slavery over womanhood will be shameless pushed in these stories. Take a look at the third cover. DC wants to trick us into believing that Diana has the premier place here in that she is front and center and in full color where Superstud isn't. Well we know that that's another lie because he is in the back of her making her look like his puppet and he is somewhat gold. WHY CAN"T SHE BE IN THE BACK AND APPEAR GOLD? Then we can further prove DC's sexism by saying, “You see he has the spotlight ‘cause he’s being in front of her and in full color.
Then look at the last cover. Superman has a tuft of hair on his forehead making him look human. Wonder Woman's hair doesn't touch her face so she is seen as less than human, therefore unworthy of respect.
4) Okay, it's late... let's go back home to the Sanatorium where we can sit in our padded rooms thinking up more rational arguments that we can use tomorrow.
Hey, when we can't think of anything else, we can even use four letter words so that will stiffle opposing opinions 'cause everyone is afraid to be called names. It will also show others how eloquent and how mentally superior we are.

@CavEl hahaha i'm glad she's not with Batman cos Batman is way too good for a lame character like Wonder Woman. again i'm glad DC finally showed that WW is nothing more than superman's f-uckbuddy

OOPS! In point three It should read Supes Flying OVER Wonder Woman. Guess while the robotic haters go back to their rooms, I should go back school and find out what under/ over means. WAIT A MINUTE! I don't need a school. A pal of mine is a bookie for Sports events.

Ive been waiting for this comic for I dunno how long... It seems like a good read, and I like Daniels work. I also like Superman & WonderWoman together. Imagine if these two had offsprings.... that would actually be refreshing... If Batman has all these damn orphan kids, and bastards sons (Damien, Terry, Terry's little bro).... Than why the hell cant superman... it would be nice to see these two have kids together just so you can have the whole...."I'm not always going to be alone, I have a family" theme for the future... it about time they do something with supes and give hima family with wonderwoman.

I just read the reviews and fan praise for this comic... Really don't understand why there is all the hate here. SMH.

Apparently, issue #1, its very well written. Woot Woot!

Hi AIwolf,
Some folks legitimately don't buy the duo. I’ve no argument with these people. You’ll also notice that they don’t curse you out when you disagree with them.

Then there are the others. They are the more volatile, foul mouthed (or foul keyboard) who want to shut you up. I've read for the past five moths on this and other fan sites that this variety of nay-sayers are upset because they know better than anyone else who should be matched with who. That comes from their refusal to examine early youth indoctrination (for lack of a better word). If you look at Bruce Timm and his followers in the Animation World, Supes is as dumb as a brick (and they tip-toe around the whole Fortress of Solitude thing where super-sophisticated technology found in the Fortress can be comprehended only by a genius). So naturally, Supes should never be with Wonder Woman. Batman can do no wrong and will, at times rescue, a powerful, but incompetent Justice League. So he should be the one to have Diana’s heart. These fans say nothing about Bats behavior, because he is the BAT-GOD. They say nothing about the rejected Wonder Woman, because at at-his-feet-adoration is where woman with common sense should be. If portraying the feminist icon akin to a desperate teenie-bopper pursuing an unapproachable rock star is the price, well, he is doing it for her own good.

Then there are the Lois devotees. In other sites, you can look at the stuff that they say. I don’t think civility would be one of their strong suits, but they are interesting. They will examine EVERY letter, comma and period to see if they can level a charge of sexism, mean-spiritedness, misogyny, nose-picker, ice cream-melter, whatever. I had only one question on a Lois and Clark fan site, and I was jumped upon. I asked why was Terri Hatcher’s version so mean to Clark in the very same clips that they used in their website? Innocent question? Yep, but you’d swear I had cursed out their mothers. And I get burned for what? A sinple question about FICTIONAL charatcers.

I can’t be pig-headed and say that all Bats and Lois fans are loonies, but who can deny that THESE folks launch verbal assaults when you disagree with them?
As for you Aiwolf, LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WORRY ABOUT THE WHACK-A-DO HATERS. Read and enjoy.
