NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (GLADIATOR, HUGO). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (BLACK SWAN), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (INCEPTION, ARGO).

Noah is directed by Darren Aronofsky, and stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Anthony Hopkins. It hits theaters March 28th, 2014.

Wow looks beautiful. I'm assuming this is the Biblical account of Prophet Noah's story and not the Quranic account. Nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to this movie.

The story of Noah is a potentially interesting story whether you believe it actually happened or it didn't. I don't think from the trailer that the movie looks very good personally, but you don't have to be religious to enjoy it. The religious will most likely enjoy it the most though.

NOAH, GODS OF EGYPT, RIDLEY SCOTT'S EXODUS, THE BIBLE SERIES...HMMMM I GUESS IN ANCIENT TIMES PEOPLE OF COLOR DIDN'T EXIST?! How about some stories of African mythology or mayan and Asian or Indian Mythology but im sure those would be cast as white people to since they are the Gods in their eyes.

@blacksuperhero: No, in ancient times no black people existed.

You are such a poor victim everyone is so mean to you because of your skin color.

Samson WAS black in the Bible series, BTW.
