THOR THE DARK WORLD (FEATURE WITH AUDIO COMMENTARY)

Will "All Hail The King" feature the return of Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin Trevor? We know he's filmed something for one of these Marvel shorts, but that title doesn't really offer up any hints one way or the other..aside from possibly alluding to the ending of Thor: The Dark World. Anyway, we'll find out soon enough when the movie hits Blu-ray and DVD in the US on February 25th. There's no UK release date yet, but it'll likely be around the same time.

Ooooo great find! I wonder why they didn't just make an extended cut? I hate having to go bs'n and watch specific scenes after the movie's over. I loved that "Loki: The First Avenger" scene. I kept hearing people talk about a cap cameo but I had no idea at all it was going to be portrayed in that manner. lol

I too also hope that the "All Hail the King" One Shot clears things up! My last favorite One Shot was the explanation of the Abomination and why Tony confronted General Ross about putting a team together.

I wonder when it'll release on DVD/Blu-Ray? I'd probably say March?? I have a full collection of Phase 1 and 2 movies on Bluray and I'm dying to add more to that collection. lol

I usually don't care about extra features but a deleted or extended "Loki: The First Avenger"? Yes, please!!!

'Marvel One-Shot: All hail the king'

Hmmm sounds interesting.

Yeah! This will probably explain where Odin is and show a bit of what Loki is doing. Don't expect a lot of hints for Thor 3 though.

The Marvel one shots are always well done itll be interesting to see what relevance trevor has in the MCU since he was nothiing more than a pawn in IM3
GinjaNinja
GinjaNinja - 1/2/2014, 7:14 AM
Is there a leaked one shot of the IM3 one? I got the film for DVD and really want to see the one shot without having to spend 20 bucks on a movie I already have

Where are Malekith's extended and deleted scenes? Is it just that dark elves prepare for battle scene? From what I've seen and heard, quite a bit of Malekith got cut. Didn't Eccleston say something about Malekith's family in an interview?
McNyagano
McNyagano - 1/2/2014, 7:20 AM
That's a lot of Malekith and the Dark Elves deleted scenes. Nice find btw.

I'm wondering if it's a cover up since everyone found out it was about Trevor.

Perhaps they'll release it sometime later? Perhaps on the Winter Soldier DVD?
GinjaNinja
GinjaNinja - 1/2/2014, 7:26 AM
Don't see why they didn't leave in any and all Malekith/Dark Elves scenes. The film was short enough, and they could have used more screen time.

February 25th in the US.

All Hail The King? My bet... Trevor is no longer in prison and now impersonating Elvis.
DefcoN

Cool, but I'd like Marvel to release an extended/director's cut from this movie.

@Mexican I recently did buy a Bluray player. But Its just a pain to start rebuying films. Since I can watch the film on DVD with the bluray player I don't feel like buying it. I will get it though if they make another blueray collectors eddition like with phase 1.

Is Malekith going to get the shaft in the deleted scenes department also? I swear if the Trevor one shot is some type of comedy bull crap and not him being some type of bad guy master mind I will be pissed. Marvel be dropping the ball a little to much for me.
dmm5
dmm5 - 1/2/2014, 8:06 AM
They could have cut out the Darcy/intern scenes or those two characters out in general and use all that time to really build Malekith and the Dark Elves. Maybe even that love triangle that was hinted and teased but never went anywhere...

And I don't think the all hail the king one will deal with the mandarin. This seems more like Odin being king

@TheRemy

They been dropping the ball because they been making mediocre superhero movies when they should be making great ones. They are leading the superhero movie industry in the golden era of superhero films but all it is are people sipping the hype machine. Mandarin twist/Malekith are the last things that make me say they are dropping the ball. In my opinion of course.

The one shot:
>SHIELD come to interrogate Trevor
>Trevor does the whole "Trevor, Trevor Slately, I'm an actor" show.
>We find out something a about AIM
>Possibly mention Baron Von Strucker
>SHIELD get up and leave
>"Trevor" does a laugh in the real Mandarin's voice
>"All hail the King" he says
>Spark-like light can be seen jumping from the rings.
>Cut to black
